Sooo.... Quasimodo underwent surgery to have an abscess removed a few weeks ago.
He recovered and all was well, but the tissue seemed to disturb him. I applied Ceforal(antibiotics) but the tissue didn't look too good.
(the white powder is the antibiotics).
So, I followed my vet friend's advice and removed it... but was horrified to see exactly what I pulled out:
It seems that the vet and I were far from removed it all- and the abscess drained towards the cavity that was created during the operation.
Luckily, the tissue now is very clean and healthy. I applied hydrogen peroxide(you can see the tiny bubbles) and will continue to do so.
