Week in Review: 7th - 14th May

Thanks again Elle for another wonderful issue of the WIR. Just a simple note (and ulterior motive as well since I sent it their way), but Jay & PJ had a new acquisition last week as well: http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50845

Also, for those that haven't seen it yet, I am offering up a gorgeous Male Anery Motley het Amel for a raffle to finance a separate Week In Review forum. It's the least I could do as I think this idea has proven to be a great enhancement!

Shush Brent, stop pointing out my many mistakes :p

Seriously, I think I missed a few new additions this week. There were LOTS!

I guess that make mine this week's unacknowledged birthday

jaxom1957 – 12th May

It was the big FIVE-O, and my very first birthday party. I don't feel a day over 49. :)

Happy birthday, snake and bird rescuer!!! You deserve something extra special.

TUla- this is sweet. Now that I'm working 40+ hours a week, I'm a bit tired out by the end of the day- sometimes too tired for CS.com!
This makes sure i'm not missing out too much!
Too tired?!?! What's THAT mean?!?!

I work a 40 hr week at one job, 20 hrs a week at a second job, write bi-weekly fishing reports for a local website(which MUST be based on current, accurate info), have my "business startup" with snakes, AND I am a single dad, play guitar in a local band, and make myself available as a resource to all colubrid snake owners in the area.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, tying flies, and browsing cs.com...:D

My yet-to-be-named Amel didn't make the "New additions to growing collections this week" list. Ah, that's Ok. Wouldn't want anyone to think I'm addicted or anything. Not meeeeee.

Three pictures of ours posted.. Personally I think Elle wanted an excuse to post a pic of another Lavender for our third picture posted.. *lol* Thank you for the effort Elle..

Regards.. Tim of T and J

It was an easy offer to make. We live just about 90 minutes apart, and I've been in the same position, where circumstances suddenly require finding homes for my pets. I've had friends step up to the plate for me, and karma dictates I do the same. I already got the best kind of birthday present: an evening shared with my friends and loved ones.

Tim, you know me and lavs... pshhhh

Jaxom, thas great you have opted to help out! Last year I had to rehome about 10 of my snakes, and only recently getting them all back. I utterly comemorate your efforts as i know how much it means for fellow keepers to help out in rough times.
