Weird Issues with Page Loading

No problems yesterday or today, so far, on Safari or Internet Explorer.
I did get totally booted out of/off Internet explorer yesterday, with two CS.com tabs open (and others), but I honestly do not think that was a CS.com problem--it had never happened in that way before. I think it was an internet/IE glitch.

But then, Oooops, that was weird. I did not mean for that (double post) to happen. (Maybe it was me...???)
 
It's baaaack. :( I'm having a lot of problems answering PMs, making posts, and adding pics. I keep getting the white screen and this time "refresh" isn't helping. I have to start over. I know a few others are the same problem.
 
It's been back for two or three days. Rich said a few days ago that the guy was going to do something with the server.

Ya, the past 3 days I just avoided posting on this site but I finally needed to make some breeding threads. ;) I saw Rich's post but I thought he was only expecting problems on Saturday. I probably misread it. :eek:
 
I'm actually on a roll right now after things were crappy all morning. Too bad I have to go to work now! :cry:
 
the weird .php file thing is back. Asks me if i want to download instead of loading the page. Been about 3 days now :)
 
When you have problems, it would help if you could state specifically what is going on along with a date and time stamp, mentioning what time zone you are referring to. That way I can have my server guy check the logs on the server to see if he can identify an issue coming from this end.

Please be as specific as you can in describing the problem....
 
At 2:36PM EST The site just about stopped responding. I was trying to post a reply to a thread called Defrosted Pinkies

When I clicked the Post Quick Reply button, The page began to load, it took a long time, then I got a message saying that I had to wait 30 seconds before I could post, but it posted and then when I clicked the New Post button, the screen went white.

My wife, who has another computer, has been having the same problem, around the same time.

*edit* Also, if you go to new post. It doesn't even count my reply, in the reply counter.

When this problem shows up again, please try posting over on FaunaClassifieds to see if that works. Both sites are on the same server, so I want to see whether it is a server issue, or something isolated to this site.
 
At 7:08 or 9PM EST. I had the Screen turn white thing happen again, when I clicked the New Post button. I immeadiately went to Fauna and I posted without incident.

I just now noticed this thread.

I have noticed that I get a blank, white page off and on, especially when I hit the SUBMIT button on a reply. I use XP and Firefox, if that makes any difference. I don't consider it a real problem because it always does what it is supposed to if I hit the back or refresh. It has been happening at least a couple of weeks. It is a little slow at times, but no other problems for me.

If I run across it again, I will try to get some info about it, or copy it.
