What type of corn is this ??

Can anyone tell me what type of corn this may be ? ( Lynnea, shhh : ) I know what I wanted and what I ordered, but what I received seemed a little diffrent in my opinion. So I want to see if some of you can tell me what you THINK this might be , by just a visual of what you see. I want to see if YOUR ANSWER matches up to what I ordered. Here is my only clue. It could be any of the Hypos with possibly another gene mixed in, in a homozygous state.

My guess: Sunkissed Amel...but I'd like to see a above the head shot.

Perhaps Ultra something but since I no longer own any of those I'm unsure what any of the ultra/ultramel stuff looks like.

Definitely not homozygous amel. There's black on the belly and a little around the saddles, and the eye is orange not red. Beyond that, no clue.

so?

If you want to be reassured that what you payed for is actually what you got, dont you think its best to say what you ordered instead of all the guessing?

Well

I suppose you dont feel like whoever you bought that snake from, sold you what you asked for or you wouldnt have posted this. Just because a snake dont look like what you think it should, doesnt mean it isnt what it was sold as.I have sold snakes before to others who posted pictures of the animals asking the same questions, getting all kinds of replys only to find out when it got to be breeding time, it was what I said it was.If you dont feel like you could trust a breeders word, then a good suggestion would be dont buy from that breeder. That snake could be alot of different morphs,so all you will get is guesses. The proof will be when you breed it.

First off it was fun reading all the diffrent guesses. Some of you guessed Ultra as one of the ingredients, and I suppose the ones of you that did were pretty close. What I purchased was an Ultramel het Caramel , and the snake in the first pic was what I received. I was expecting an animal with more bright oranges and of course some reds. The above animal has NO REDS. And of course , I thought the eyes would show hints of the Amel gene. Which the above animal definetely does not.

Are some of you surprised by my answer ? As a comparasion picture I have posted below an Ultramel het Blood that I bought from Jeff Mohr at Daytona several months ago. I was kind of expecting something more along these lines.

Anyway, I'll do a test breeding this spring with the above animal and another snake that is amel , to see if I get any amels from the clutch. It will still be a fun animal to work with.

Ultramels can vary alot,so I am sure thats what it is! Funny thing is thats what I sold years ago that was being questioned! Have a good breeding season this coming year!

First off, great to meet another Stephen on here :) Your first sentence is Correct. First off I know snakes vary in apperance. SOME Hypo A's for Example can be so dark they could probably pass as Normals sometimes. But If I order an Animal that has Amel in a Homozygous from , Should I not SEE THAT ?? Does this mean, I am MAD, FRUSTRATED, or ANGRY at the BREEDER ? NO !!! Absoultely not ! Just a little surprised. I'll still breed this animal with other snakes and see what happens.

As far as not buying from a trusted breeder. WELLL. I've bought SEVERAL animals form this same breeder in the past, no problems. Thats why I bought from this person or persons again. This time , just a little surprised. I HAVE NO INTENTION to metion names . Things happen. I'm just asking the corn community a general question, just like hundreds do everyday on here. I don't think thats a crime.
