"Quality Before Quantity"
Hi Everyone,
PJ was walking the dogs today at a local park that has a duck pond. When she approached the edge of the pond she happened upon this little guy. He is a Common Eastern Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina). He is very tiny so he must have hatched within the past week or so. We live in the city and the park is right in the middle. It goes to show how hardy some of these animals can be and you don't have to travel too far to go field herping.
PJ was so excited she made me take pics and post them for you to see (don't know why she couldn't do it herself, she has her own user name.....geez
