Pragmatic & Logical
Thanks - I was wondering if anyone else ever heard of it, lol!
Yes, it has only been in the U.S. for a few years, and few Americans have even heard of it, much less tried it. That is why I was hoping some of our UK members would answer.
I did locate some - only the breaded chicken patties as of last week. We are trying to avoid bread, but did try some since there was no other choice available. It was really quite good! My friend's 4 year old said "I just love chicken nuggets!" - he couldn't tell the difference.
I have now located a health food store that has the ground beef type that you can add in chili and spaghetti - that is what I really want, and will try to get some next time I am in town. It certainly isn't cheap - about $5 for 10 - 12 ounces. I would guess it is cheaper in the UK, since the long transportation and various extra distributors are not needed. I will keep everyone posted on how friends and family likes the other types, in case it gets anyone interested in trying it out.
Anyone else here tried it?
