WIR: 10th - 17th March

Great W.I.R. Elle!

I love the addition of the "Member of the Week". Anything we do in the W.I.R. is biased. We each have our own style and pick things we like. I know how much time we each take to make one, and I appreciate everyone's effort.

I don't post here much anymore but even if I did, I would not be upset if my name was never mentioned. Maybe it's just me. :shrugs:

Tough!!! here is Galen, you name on this WIR.. ;)

Great job Elle as always and I do like contributor of the week. Heck, you know, this could instead be listed as contributor of the month. A COM and you could have people vote on it in the WEEK of review so that way everyone could have a vote. its just my 2 cents, but I think its a great idea to have one, with or without a vote from fellow members.

WHAT?!?!? A vote?! A vooooote?!?! And just what do you think the other 13,683 members would think when their name is not on the monthly ballot?!?! Sheesh . . . :sidestep:

Great WIR Elle! I can't imagine how hard it is to put one of these together! A whole week of threads and posts to look back on...wow!

Congratulations Jenn on member of the week! These past few weeks have been dead and finals week for me so I've done little more than pop my head in and post a few pictures. Guess I'll have to do some back tracking and read a few of your posts!

Oh, and Spring break is coming up, so perhaps we can FINALLY get together. Do you think your ghost mot girl is still up for V (snow mot/pos cube male)? I decided randomly I DID want to try throwing a few of my snakes together after all, but I think I'm a bit too late for it.

Wonderful WIR, Elle, very well organized and thoughtful. I like the idea of "member of the week" because it gives people more motives to speak up and also speak well.

Thank you for including one of my pictures as well. :dancer:

Oh, and I know you try to keep yourself out of the WIRs you do, but I think a few of your spiders deserve an honorable mention here! Too bad about learning one of them was a male.. at least you're becoming educated first hand though about spider sexes. It's weird that he's so bright and a male though, I thought most species were highly sexual dimorphic, and he's just so BRIGHT!

I don't really like mentioning non corn snake related information in the WIR. I know I could but this is a corn snake site that happens to have a general chit chat section for off topic stuff. I couldn't bare to saerch through a week of general chit chat posts to include stuff from there as well LOL.

I am devistated about the spidie, hes soooo goood looking and he is rather docile. Oh well, hopefully I can get a 50/50 breeding loan from him.

Nice Week In Review Elle. Thank you for mentioning "Ben". I am glad you like him. Plus, isn't it awesome that the W.I.R. has a proper place on the Cornsnake Forums? I think this was a great move. Again, great job Elle!
Jay

I've gotta add mine...LOL

Cutest kid photo goes to CALIVIK...LOL

Oh absolutly I was going to include them but I thought it would be cheeky to "advertise" my T'shirts in the WIR. But it's about the kids eh ;) LOL

Are the claws apparent in your pictures of him? If so I'll go back and look, just wondering because I don't often see pictures of them. I have a T who I've had for quite awhile now with no moult. I'm suspecting he's a mature male. I can see some black things on the tips of its feet, but they're not hooked. Time to read up about Tarantula anatomy!

Ps: I'm so envious of your equipment and photography skills. The pictures I take of my Ts now all look so pathetic. :smash:
