I've been really busy over the summer and really haven't had the time to go through the photos I've taken. Here's some pics from a family hiking trip we took.
Great pics of one of my favorite places in the world.
I remember flying from LA to Seattle. It was one of those great days where I was in the right place at the right time. The pilot made an announcement and I looked out and saw a much HIGHER up version of the first picture you took.
I've been to Yosemite once. It was a three bear trip. The source of my bear phobia. But a beautiful place. Still- I think my favorite park out there is Lassen.
Oh, those are some amazing shots. The many faces of nature consistently amaze me. I'd love to go out West some day and see places like Yosemite and the Grand Canyon.
Those are wonderful pictures! I did research in the Sierras and spent some time at Yosemite. I loved it! Even had a bear about 5ft outside my tent with a bag of chips in its mouth! I love bears (Sorry Nanci). Part of my research out there also included Lassen, another of my favorite places! I love the parks out West. Nothing near to that out here in flatland Florida!
Yosemite is one of my favorite places to go. The other, though much smaller an area to explore, is McArthur-Burney Falls.... loveliest waterfall ever in my highly biased opinion.
Those were truly some beautiful pictures you took, and for some reason I am terribly amused by the formerly owned rock-dove in the last picture.
