I love this idea though, for the catering- I wonder if it would also work with Susan's husband's diet? It sounds like the options might work well for everyone!

I too cannot wait to meet everyone!!!!!!! I am sooo excited and it is still 4 months away!

And, do we have to do anything special to make it to this dinner? Or just inform you Katie that we are interested in coming?
 
Man the more and more that I read these thread the more and more I want to stay there and join in on the fun. But I only live like 25 mins from there dont know if I can justify paying for a room so close to my house.

Is there any way to join in on the fun even if I dont get a room there?

Also if you are looking for a bartender for a cash bar I have been bartending for 2 years. Would be more then happy to donate my services.

You don't have to stay at the hotel to join in the fun...

you will just have a little drive ahead of you after the festivities!

I am sure the caterer will want to know how many are coming, and may want payment up front. I expect the info will all be posted here once details are known. Stay tuned!

Kathy is correct - you do not have to stay at the hotel overnight to join us for dinner and/or any festivities we hold there.
We will have to pay for dinner and such in advance so as we get details and get things nailed down we will work out a way to arrange payment in advance like we did last year.

Why on earth? I was intimidated, as it was my first year and I was totally the new kid on the Daytona block! You all made me feel very comfortable though! *HUGS* I was honored that there were so many people who wanted to meet me! At the show I tried to keep a low profile, expecting to get a "Carol who?" out of some people.

Honestly though, I am usually shy for the first 30 minutes or so and that is sooooo often read the wrong way. :eek: I can be quiet, but thats because by the time I think of something worth adding the the conversation, the subject has changed. LOL. I'm slow.

I was intimidated by Carol last year, and this year we will be Daytona roomies! :D Oh boy...

Beth, I cannot wait to meet you either! We are going to have sooooo much fun! I cant wait! I am more excited this year than I was last year and last year was freakin awesome!
 
I know I was just tickled to finally get to meet Carol. In my book, it was like the first time I met Kathy or Rich. You are something special Carol - both in the cornsnake world and just as a unique individual - even if you don't realize it!

I had a lot of fun last year..I can afford to drive down, but can't afford a hotel this year sadly. I haven't done what I usually do to make extra money, and this Nursing Program I'm in isn't cheap. So if anyone has a couch... :)
 
Well that is good to know that I can still participate even if I dont stay there. I will be there for the dinner and fun for sure.
