Will this turn out ugly or awesome?

So I have learned that there can be a bit of variability in the Tessera corns, from even a small sample size of 12. Here's a "typical" one:

All but three have at least that basic look.
This one had a bit of pattern break:

But there is one that is a complete ugly duckling. She almost lacks a single straight defined line.

Even the side pattern is like a run-on sentence in places.

She's the hardest to get a photo of b/c she comes out to eat as soon as I open the lid, even just hours after a big meal. While I appreciate the adventuresome spirit, she's obnoxiously active. But whether or not she's ugly, I haven't decided. Maybe time will tell. But for now, you get the vote. If the vote is 100% ugly, it won't hurt my feelings in the least... or hers! Also, name suggestions appreciated. I may hold on to her just to see if wonky stripes pass on...

Personally, I like her pattern and I hope it's heritable because that will give us another whole "type" of Tessera. I hope you hold on to her and see how she turns out and what she produces, I really do.

I would pick her over the others because of her markings. I like that she's marked different. I bought my hypo because she was marked different then the other babies.

Personally I'm not a fan of tessera's in general anyway...the pattern is too "disorganized" for my liking. That said, I'm also not a huge fan of snakes with lots of aberrant pattern, unless it is a very uniform aberrant pattern (like a near perfect zig zag). The teserra's I do like best are like the first one you pictured with the neat solid straight line down the back. But to each his own.

I love the regularly irregular nature of her aberrant pattern. If you decide she is too ugly to keep, send her to mee!

She looks really cool, I think. Like a zipper pattern; a line with little bumps along it.

Personally, I would try to breed that trait.

I love her patterning because it reminds me of the pattern on my house snakes. I prefer the miami colouration of the top one but that's because I'm hankering after miamis and over here they're few and far between.

Father *should* be het amel stripe, mother anery, no known hets.

Hmm, well, they are there now, so must have just been a temporary glitch on my end. I picked interesting, not because I'm saying ugly nicely, but because it definitely is interesting. It will be neat to see if it can be inherited.

I think she is spectacular. I am ALL about pattern, but I haven't been impressed with what I've seen in the Tessera's so far, but that little girl has my attention. I hope it is a heritable trait.

BTW, what kind of substrate is that and where did you get it? I've looked high and low, and can't find anything like it. (LOL...kind of reminds me of the feed my grandfather used to feed the cows.)

It's Yesterday's News cat litter! Recycled newspaper, extruded to a pellet. I don't usually use it on pippies, but those are getting too big for paper towels for my liking. It's the easiest substrate to spot clean I've found. If you can avoid water bowl spills, it's perfect.
