Hi there. I am a fifteen year old girl, and am living with my father, my sister, her husband, and her kids. Well, I've wanted to get a snake for many years, but my mom never let me. After moving in with my dad, I've recently begun asking to get one. My sister told me no, as, in her opinion, they are "creepy" and will not be welcomed in her house. Well, despite her telling me no, my dad said that I could still get one. As it turned out, I ended up getting two corn snakes. Well, I've been away for a week, and she went into my room and found them. She then texted me, and said that "THE SNAKES ARE GONE AS SOON AS YOU GET HOME." I haven't seen or talked to her since then, and will not do so for another week. But then I will have to discuss it with her, and wish to try and convince her to let me keep them. The thing is, they are kept in my room, and she hasn't know that I've had them for nearly two months. She's also never given snakes a chance. I realize that I am in the wrong, having gone against her wishes and gotten -and kept- them behind her back. However, I don't think it's fair that I should have to get rid of them. I already have a few things to back up my point, but was wondering if anyone could help me make my point. So why do corns make good pets, and why shouldn't she worry? Thank you to anyone who helps me.
