Crazy Dave
You start a thread after contacting 2..count em 2...people on here.
What a personally consider a nasty dig, a slap in the face to everyone here...
When I get an email from someone, I am happy to answer it. If they decide to buy from me I hope they are thrilled. Updates from people who have my animals make my day.
But after reading this thread, as far as your "experiance in this hobby" I just have to say, my giveadamn is busted. I honestly don't care if you are ever satisfied. And I am pretty sure I am not the only one here who feels this way.
Way to alienate an entire online community!!
Maybe this is not the hobby for you?
We were all new at one forum or another at some point. Each has its own flavour; they come with rules of conduct. It sometimes takes a person awhile to fit into a new community. Sometimes the eagerness to participate results in running into a few walls. I know it took me some time (and getting banned a couple of times) to grasp some concepts which took others not much time at all to come to terms with, though I don't know if they had been banned from other forums before coming to this one, and possibly learned from mistakes of the past. From my own experience, I have learned to not make hasty assumptions. Everyone has something to contribute. Whether it proves out to be positive, negative, the gray area between, is entirely up to them. The only person I have control over is my own self. There is no rule which states I must reply to every post as quickly as possible without stopping and taking time to carefully consider/think about- what was said, and come up with a well-thought-out-reply. If bothering to reply at all.
If I want to make an butthead of myself, that is my own choice and doing.
If someone else wants to do that, I will respect their choice, just as I would expect them to respect my choice. It's not a contest. But it can be interesting to watch. The person in a rush may not see the edge of the cliff until it is too late.
