Clearly not an experienced hobbyist, since no one who is would have a pair of alligators (I bet they were caiman), but what a horrible article. Quotes from the HSUS, and comparisons to the tigers the nut in Ohio had?
 
Comments are all in our favor, but I'm embarrassed by the spelling and grammar of some of those defending herps!!

Nothing In that article made sense!

To my Knowledge, a Ball python or Bearded dragon has NEVER Been responsible for the death of a Human...infant or otherwise. To label them as "Deadly" is insanely ignorant!

Problem is...This is just the beginning......
 
I didn't quite get why the police felt the need to remove the snakes at all? At first they made it sound like it was a violation of the housing laws but when they quoted the actual laws, I didn't see anything in the wording to explicitly preclude snakes. Totally worthless article all around.
