I was wondering if many people consider this morph (and Pewter) "tired" and old-hat. Reason being, that I haven't seen many up for sale this season of any age.
To me, a newer genetic version of Anery (Charcoal) paired with Hypo would be more popular than Ghosts (AneryA and Hypo). I playing a lot of catchup knowing what all the morphs are, and have never worked w/any.
Ghosts are pretty plentiful, many ppl are producing them. Pretty sure AneryB's been around long enough for many to have been working w/ them for a few gens, and Hypo(altho both are new to me).
Snows are everywhere, Anery A's and Amels too. Charcoal's easy enough on the wallet to be had, too. Also plenty of Blizzards.
So why is it that there's a lot of the older morphs being produced, and also a lot of the newest stuff too on the market, but in the middle you have some that aren't often seen, like Phantom and Pewters?
First I thought that breeders see it was nothing special, and moved on. But then the contradiction of older morphs (Snow, Ghost, Blizzard) just as plentiful as newer morphs(Lavender stuff, Opals, all the Bloodred combos and Lava stuff) just a lot cheaper?
If it was for profitability, you'ld think that Amels and Anerys wouldn't be produced in the #'s they are, that ppl give up on them and everyone would push newer stuff.
It's all confusing to me as I try to get a handle on price/demand of all these morphs. I'm basing all my observation on just watching about 8 mos of the online market and probably 8-10 yrs behind anything that's going on in corn breeding, so keep that in mind if I'm skew... I'm a bit of a cave-dweller hehe
