Doggies in the Snow!

Eriathiel

Short and Sweet
Well it snowed again all day yesterday and last night - and we got about two more inches then was expected! My dogs Sydney Marie and Cordelia Jane are just loving it, so I thought I would share a few photos!

Sydney is the bigger solid brown and Cordi is the smaller black, tan, and white dog!

Well...I have seen enough snow lately to last me awhile...but NEVER EVER enough pics of cute puppies having fun!
They are so sweet :)

They look like they're having so much fun!! Great pictures, Izzy! I wish we had a big enough yeard for our yellow guy to romp in the snow!!

Is that a lab X pitt? It just has that look to me. Good looking dogs, looks like they had a blast.

Thank you! :) Sweet they are... also a pain in the butt but I think I"ll keep them around a bit longer ;)

Thanks! They did have tons of fun! You should try and find a outdoor dog park in your area!

Looks like fun. My Jack Russel would never run around in the snow, her paws would get cold. That spoiled dog... She enjoys the sand at the beach though. ;]
What breed is Cordi? Both are very cute. :]

Actually believe it or not, Dad was a Vizsla (just like your dog I see!) and Mom was a German Shorthaired Pointer. She was supposed to be purebred GSP but the breeder walked into find that her male Vizsla had gotten into Mom's cage while she was in heat... before she has ever exposed to another dog. Then there were 12 puppies... well you know how that story goes!

She's really thick though, unlike the Vizsla - its all muscle though. She runs with my dad everyday!

Cordi is a mutt through and through! No idea! I've had a TON of people tell me though that she looks like a Norweigan Elkhound. Someday I'm going to do that Canine Heritage DNA testing just for the fun of it and see what it says!

Hence the docked tail. I can see the Vizsla with the chest patch, and can see GSP if I look real hard and use a little imagination, but she just looks like a lab. Huh? :shrugs: Anyha, shes a good looking dog, Im sure she has a heck of a nose.

Yep hence the docked tail! She does have an amazing nose - points like crazy - sadly no one hunts in my family so her talent goes to waste but...

I know, I get asked if she's a lab a lot! Every single one of the other 11 puppies looked just like her, with different patches of white on their chest. Mom was the usual mostly white with brown spots that GSP can be... I'll have to see if I can track down some baby pictures so I can show you - they sent us pictures of mom and dad and the day that she was born...
In the light you can see she has red in her fur too - a brunette with red highlights!

You can take that snow and keep it! Looks like your dogs love it, though. Bella would die up there.

Fantastic pictures Izzy! And such cute pups! They look like they're having a blast. We have a dog who is part GSP, and he's just a wonderful fellow.

AWWWW!!!!
When I lived in Denver, one of my neighbors had a pomeranian that got lost in the snow. Doesn't look like you have that problem, though!

Great pictures!
