WEIRD breeding Hypo Plasma X Pewter

zorro

Old Guy
I bred my pewter (ACR4677) who was so light that I thought she might be het hypo to my Hypo Plasma for testing. Well this is what I am getting (she had 28 eggs so they are still coming).:shrugs:

I love/hate those clutches. I love them because every hatching egg is a surprise. I hate them because I never positive what the morph is just by looking so how do I label/price them for sale. Which leads to the next problem. I want to keep them all!
Gorgeous clutch. Congrats.

ours was
butter motley het anery x hypo lavender bloodred

good times...

I can see Bloodreds and Plasmas, the Plasmas are very light but I can't see any Hypo Bloods - so I think that the Pewter was het for Lavender so you got Bloods het Hypo Lav Charcoal and Plasmas het Hypo Charcoal

Nice clutch, congratulations :wavey:

You don't think those pink guys look Hypo?
Thanks
John

the quality of the pics isn't the best.. I hatched out a few plasmas het hypo anery last year and they looked like yours. If they are hypo plasmas where are the hypo bloods in the clutch? Maybe it looks only on my screen so dark, but all the bloods are to dark for me so I tell bloodreds and plasmas

I see what you are saying and I agree the Hypo bloods are conspicuously absent. I will be watching the rest of the babies as they come out of the eggs and looking forward to the first shed.
But I don't care if there is no hypo as the Lavender was a great gift!!!!!!!!!!!
John

yeah of course, the lavender is a very good gift, I had the anery as gift in my hypo plasma line last year ;)
If you are selling some of the plasmas let me know :wavey:

the breeding was Hypo blood het anery lav x plasma het ghost.. I haven't did this breeding this year again, I used the Plasma girl for my hypo lav stripe het amel male... maybe some more secret hets ;)

You where riight as of now most of the eggs have hatched and it looks like plasmas and bloodreds about 26 of them. When they first came out of the eggs they were alot lighter leading me to believe they were hypo but once they dried off they were plasmas.
How did they get lavender into a pewter?????????????????????????
I guess like Rich Z. said we haven't seen anything yet with all these snakes and their hidden hets.
I don't know if those plasmas can swim or I would send some your way, I can bring them to Daytona as I am going to be at Rob's (Bayou Reptiles) table.
