I feel so, left out :( I should've been there.. Stupid technicality of not having enough money.. I hope everyone goes next year and I can go too... I have to meet everyone.. :)

In fact, in my bones I feel like the liquor was flowing, windmills were turning, and many birds were touched at the Daytona love-in...ahem...I mean Herp Expo.

I didn't feel worthy Kathy! Besides if I talked to you too much I'd probably be packing my stuff to move next door right now... Since Jeram lost his job, we are not attached any more but that's such a big move!
 
It is not THAT far!

Only on the opposite side of the country, lol! Close, if you compare it to moving to, say, Australia (couldn't keep corns there, anyway)!

We are seeing the first faint glimmers of a turn around in the economy here - time to move on down! Then you can snake and kitty sit for me when I travel, haha!

Haha! Actually, I remarked at the dinner that it seemed like everyone thought we must have cooties or something. Most of the tables were pretty full, but Bill and Gino (and his wife Ellen) and I had a BIG table, half empty. Even our roomies (we had adjoining rooms with Chuck, Alain, Hallie, and Matt, all sharing in one room or the other with us), all deserted us, lol! But we had a nice visit with Gino and Ellen.

Kathy we wouldnt have deserted you! You and your hubby are two of the nicest people I have ever met!!
 
Some good news guys....I have been emailing with the hotel all day today about our event and they were very happy to have us. They are already offering us the same type of room block and rates for next year! And I have some potential alternate options we can do for dinner.

I know it is really early, but good to know for when we do start planning for next year.

That's so awesome, Katie!!!! Definitely mark me down for a room. Those hotel folks were extremely nice. I almost felt like getting their email addresses before we left. That little Lauren was a total sweetpea...I don't think she'll ever forget us.

I have laurens e mail and phone number if you ever want to e mail her she said anytime we want to just all meet at the beach she will hook me up with some good rates just for a few rooms
