I accidently used my calendar for bedding substrate, so I'm not really clear on the exact dates these W-I-R thingys are supposed to run from-to.

WeaK In Review

Greetings Pantherophis guttatus lovers. This week has had many interesting events. Many rodents were consumed, and stock in RubberMaid, makers of Sterilite, went up a little bit. Ramekins and Souffle dishes from kitchen suppliers and ceramics import stores still tend to be the most affordable water dishes. Sterilite is still cheapest at Target, and Big Lots. Farm Supply Stores still have the best pricing on Aspen.

Please welcome these new members to the Site:
Arrowhd, Gnauty, Lily---, WindowsWisher, Radiant Reptiles, Wliob, Ayin, Eispi, Link2Past,Tert, Puffer123,GalaxyMan, James673, and Shevy B

Crimson.Dawn showed us how to construct a Homemade c02 Chamber, for humane euthnization of rodents prior to feeding our pets.

2 Corns in 1 tank continues to be the hot topic of the week, with 167 replies, 2706 views, and more sure to come.

PurraLovesJazz asked about her friend's pet: Is this CornSnake overweight?

Lilou showed off/asked about her Opal Differences.

Jodi showed off their lovely Ghost Corn

The thread "New Morphs from Charles Pritzel's Book" provides much useful genetics information & discussion.

Lynnea showed off her dangerously handsome BuckSkin Okeetee, and this little sweetheart too.

Robbie showed me the Lavender ZigZag he's giving me for Christmas.

Beckers71 shows off a Hypo Lavender keeper:

GillianC showed off her children: Pewter, Phantom & Stripes.

Kanchi showed us something most of us could make room for:

NFS07 showed us the "get back in without paying the cover charge again stamp", and a wonderful Ghost Stripe/Cube:

Nanci has obtained an attractive Mail-Order Bride

VinMan asks an important question: What do I do with this girl ????? . (USARK Fundraising Auction comes to mind...)

Raisingrrl shows her Magnificent CornSnake Tats

And of course "Where's the week in review?" thread.

That about covers it. Tune in next week for more fabulous tales of what happened on the site while you were out rodent hunting.

Hoping each and every one of you has a pleasant poop filled week, because a week full of poop is generally a week without problems. :)
Blessings to all-

Well, heck...does this mean I'm off the hook for tomorrow??

**edit** dave, I'm actually not kidding. You've posted no dates or links to these photos, but if you've already covered the last week, I'm not going to spend six hours doing it over. I'm not offended, and I think you did a great job, but as a regular author, if I'd known you were going to cover my week, I wouldn't have been collecting the information for tomorrow's review. As it stands now, and as a formal notice to Brent, I'll consider my week done until next month. :)

***edit***

It was suggested I do a WIR, on the "Where's the WIR Thread". So I did. I'm sorry. It won't happen again.

I'm not a doctor, I'm a nurse, and I could give a rat's cloaca what you see as presumptuous. If you felt the need to do something that was out of your range as a member, one might assume that you'd have the common sense to check the author schedule and cover the appropriate dates that were lacking. In failing to do so, I am not inclined to volunteer my time to cover what you've chosen to take upon yourself, regardless of how pompously you went about it. In closing, bite me. :)

You've chosen to edit your snipey comment to me, and I'll remember to quote you going forward. I've sent my message to the WIR keeper, and if he chooses to replace me with you, so be it. Next time you take it upon yourself to do something that you're sarcastically asked to do (given the fact that you took it upon yourself to ask someone else to take responsibility for it) please check the dates required.

It was not intended as snippy. I assumed you would not take it that way. I edited it, just as you edited your post preceeding it. Again, I am sorry I offended you.

I really like Lori a lot. I didn't mean to upset her so. Not at all, for that matter. We've joked around on other threads, It was insensitive of me to assume she'd know when I was, or not.

Who does the WIR, if it's even done at all, is not a concern of the moderators. I see no reason for the thread to be deleted.

I didn't know the mods were brought into it, Susan, but I agree.

Since Mr. Partington removed his incredibly sarcastic comment to me above, he looks like the poor victim of my wrath. Whatever. My job is done for the month. I do apologize to the two members whom I'd promised to include in my WIR.

Good Morning.
Lori, I asked the moderators to remove this (my own) thread last night. (that is how "the moderators were brought into it"). They have not.

I apologized to you then, and, edited away my sarcastic post, because it upset you. Evidently I should have left it? I am also sorry the title is offensive in that it does not cover specific dates. Perhaps if I had not been so hasty to toss together a WIR, regardless- I am sorry the symantecs do not win your approval.

I have apologized, not self-justified.

Please tell me what I need to do, think, or feel, in order to restore happiness and harmony. If you do not tell me what I need to focus on I cannot improve myself. Thank you for any considerations.

You can start with dropping the dripping sarcasm, Dave.

You don't owe me an apology, you owed me the respect of keeping within the boundaries of the Author Schedule when you made your decision. Brent keeps a tight reign on it if you haven't noticed from other posts regarding the matter. Feel free to contact him if you'd like to be placed on said schedule as a regular author or as an alternate.
My reason for being upset was stated above:
as a regular author, if I'd known you were going to cover my week, I wouldn't have been collecting the information for tomorrow's review
That said, what you put together was well done. Bravo to you. I am done discussing the matter. ~Lori Boz
