    "Pickles, would you lay down!"

So, my assumed female, maybe male...I never had the snake probed...anyway she is very active these past few weeks. I know it's starting to look a lot like spring out there. I live in Northern MD. But this is crazy. My three year old corn snake will not stop zooming around her enclosure. She's...

    Showing off Pickles.

Just a random small picture dump of my classic corn Pickles. Not sure if she's het hypo, but shes very bright for a classic corn in my opinion. What do you think? First picture is her when she was a few months old. She's about three years old now.

Ultramel Anery or black rat snake cross?

Kaa has been called both. Some would say ultramel anery because of his blue eyes, others would say black rat cross because of the shape of his head. I dunno what he is, but he is beautiful and I adore him. [Yes, I've uploaded these pictures before. I'm cheating. Can upload more if needed.]

    What is this strange behavior?

This is Pickles, my (assumed) female snake. She's probably 2 years old or so. Recently, she's been very active. Constantly exploring, pacing her cage almost. I'm not sure what's going on. [Caught her via mobile with her body braced up against the glass, and her tail swishing in the water bowl...

Ultramel Anery Motley from Petsmart, Kaa my scaredysnake

I'll start this with I work at Petsmart, and where I work we do a wonderful job caring for all of our animals. We love them all as our own. That being said, I couldn't help myself from purchasing this beautiful boy when he came in one day. I assume he is a ultramel anery motley even though his...

Is this retained shed? Or something else?

My snake Pickles has what appears to be dried scales stuck to the top of her head. I've also seen her rubbing her chin and cheeks on her tank ornaments. What can I do to fix this/what causes it to happen? Or is it something more serious?

    My Baby Ate Aspen Bedding!

While feeding my snake, Kaa he accidentally ate a piece of bedding. Will he be okay? Should I worry? I'm sure wild snakes accidentally eat things while feeding.

Finally got some good pics of my mystery morph.

So, background is I work at Petsmart - judge or don't, we take really good care of our animals at my store. I work in pet care, and one day we got in our new 'Fancy corn snake'. On the plastic shipment bin was scribbled 'ghost'. Upon opening the bin, I find this absolutely stunning pale baby...

Confirm this for me, a ghost (possibly motley)?

I've had Kaa for about four months now. He was sold as a 'Fancy corn' from Petsmart. The vendor slip said he's a ghost. He seems a bit light to me for a ghost, but I know they've got varying shades of grey all over the spectrum. Is it possible he's a dilute? He's also a Motley, I assume since...

Glowing Classic Corn & Light Ghost Motley

Finally got a chance to take some nice pictures of my snakes. The Classic corn is female, named Pickles. She will be approx. three years old in January. I think she might be het. hypo, but I'm not sure. She was purchased at a pet store. The Ghost Motley is male, named Kaa. I got him this...

Identify this please! (Snow with strange markings)

My friend purchased a really unique snow from a local pet shop. I am unsure of what to call it though. Sorry for the blurry picture, it wouldn't sit still. Thanks!

    Show me your Ghost Motleys!

This is Kaa, hes my handsome little hateling serpent. Hes got a skull marking on his crown, I am really amused by it. Anyway, I would love to see some other ghost motleys to compare with and admire. I can not wait for mine to grow up big and strong.

    Classic corn, or something else?

This is Pickles. I've always assumed she was a classic corn snake up until I discovered the many different morphs there are available. Would anyone be so kind as to say what kind she is? Thanks.

    Snake keeps pooping on me...

I recently acquired a young ghost motley. He was very skittish and prone to biting when I got him which is understandable for a baby corn. I gave him a good four days to settle down before interacting with him. His cage is 10 gallon aspen bedded, with a coconut hut and a driftwood log. Now...

Blue eyes, a trait to breed for?

How common are blue eyes in corn snakes? I have a ghost motley (anerythristic + hypomelanistic + motley) and he has blue eyes. Is there money to be made from blue eyed offspring? Is that a trait some breeders will try for. Picture related. The picture doesn't do his eyes justice.
