K. Rene

Cozmic Cornz
Raya was acting weird last night and pushed all the vermiculite around in her viv. Got up at 7am and found this pretty picture this morning. 9 pearly whites so far maybe a few more to go! That's more than I was hoping for, cross your fingers they hatch for me :) I'm so excited! (sorry the pic is sucky quality it was with my phone)

congrats, that is pretty. I am still waiting for most of mine to ovulate so I can pair them.

Yeah we started a bit earlier because it’s their first year and we weren’t 100% sure when they would be ovulating, or how long it would take for them to lay. The babies will be nice and healthy for the expo in August if they hatch in June.

Sweet congrats!!!!

Thanks! I can’t believe she has laid that many! 12 out now and I think there is two more. She does look a bit deflated but she ate up until this week so that makes me happy. Gonna try giving her a small meal later today or tomorrow, right?

I fed my girls when i took out the eggs. I gave them a few hours after they finished laying to be 100% sure they were finished.

I wait a few days before feeding, and make sure the meal is a smaller one, over time(3-4 feedings) building the food size back to normal...

I put her back over her heating pad, under her hide, that's gotta be more comfortable than on the plastic in the lay box. Poor things so pooped. I'm so proud of her. Still can't believe it 14 beautiful eggs :D

Congrats! Hope it all goes well. Like the new avatar, by the way. (Havent been on in a while, I might be late) :)

I always offer them a small meal. Sometimes they eat and sometimes not. I try to keep as much weight on them as possible. Those eggs look awesome.

Nope my avatar is only a day or so new :) my little jungle corn Zafrina, she has such good contrast and pattern she made a sweet black and white photo! Thanks :D

I plan on trying to give her a fuzzy today Nancy to see if she'll eat it.

It's been 7 weeks TODAY!!!

It's actually been 8 Weeks for this clutch today!!! NOT 7! Sheesh glad I only have two to keep track of.

Sigh knowing it's getting closer is making me anxious. The frustrating part is not knowing when their going to pip! I have everything set up and ready to go for them. Now I'm just trying not to check the incubator multiple times a day. Here is a pic of when they went into the incubator and one of what they look like now. They have been incubating between 82-84 degrees, how long do you think we have to wait?
