GTP - Jayden

This is an update on Jayden. He is a male, late '07, Green Tree Python (Jayapura).
Jayden is a real sweetheart, very docile. I, absolutely, love this guy.:)
Currently, he is in an in-between phase (from maroon, before becoming green) and had shed just minutes before these photos were taken.
The photo, in this 1st post, is what he looked like back in April.
The photos, in the next post, is what he looks like right now.

Thanks, everyone.:)

He's so cute! Is this the Pea Soup stage??

Yeah, pretty much, it is his yellowy pea soup stage.:D
Am looking forward to his becoming green but have really enjoyed watching his transformation so far.

It's unbelievable how their colours change.

It really is.
I thought that I had lost his photos, from July, but I ended up finding them after posting this thread.
This is what he looked like in July (it's his orange phase that was between the maroon and "yellowy pea soup" ;) stage).

Jayapuras change their colors rapidly when compared to Biaks.
Is your docile? I imagine he should be.

Is your docile? I imagine he should be.

Oh yes, he is a very sweet natured boy.:)

What a beauty!

Thanks, Janine.:)

I really like how he is turning out and what it seems he promises to be.

Now that he is a confirmed male, I am going to have to, eventually, find him a very nice Jayapura girlfriend or two (nope, that couldn't, also, have anything to do with my desire to have another one, or two, of these wonderful snakes ;) ).

Gorgeous! I hope he holds on to some of those blues. He's gonna be a real head turner!

Thanks.:)

The blue dorsal stripe, outlines, etc. will remain and should become a bit more pronounced as well. It has been coming in, and intensifying, with each shed and with time (from having started out as black).

He is AMAZING! I love his blue dorsal stripe.

Thanks, Elle.:)

He has developed just a wee bit more green tint in the last days (since the time that the recent photos were posted). Leaning even more so toward the "pea soup" look.:D

Can't wait for my wee girl to properly start changing colour.

It really is interesting to watch. You'll enjoy it, I am sure.:)

What a beautiful little guy! I've always loved the Jayapuras with their deep deep greens and blues :)

Thanks.:)

The Jayapuras do have a nice color and ... I love that they have a tendency toward being more docile than some others.:)

(Here you go Elle :) )
It is just fascinating/amazing watching how quickly colors can change, on GTPs, between sheds.
Below are photos of what Jayden looks like right now. This is just barely over a week after his last shed & what he had looked like at that time (in this thread).
More & more green has been coming in.:)
