Clutch #2

RobbiesCornField

Bring it on.
10 perfect pearly whites with no slugs from a first time breeder! I'm very excited about this clutch. It will help prove my charcoal boys hets! Fingers crossed for Snow motleys!

Here's the proud momma.

Aw those are gorgeous eggs, and parents! Can't wait to see the pics of those babies.
Can't wait for a clutch of my own either =)

Congrats Robbie! Fingers crossed that your charcoal boy proves out!

Thanks, everyone! It really was a tossup on whether or not I wanted to breed this girl this year, or hold off for another year (she was a little on the small side). But fortunately, she's made it through just fine, and could probably double clutch if she really wanted to. She lost minimal weight and looks healthy as can be! I'm very proud of this little girl. :D

Thanks! It's only 2 more months... :twohammer :crazy01: :bomb: If we're going by the 50 days it took my eggs to hatch last year, I'm expecting pippies on July 9th. :D

I usually have pippies around 60-65 days, so I've still got 40ish days to go on the first clutch, 50ish days on the second and female #3 (Blossom) is still in blue for her pre-lay shed  and female #1 (Beauty) looks like she's gonna double on me again, I might just go insane this year :crazy01:

Good luck! :D

I hope this clutch does prove out your male! I really liked the pic of the eggs with the twenty! I was having a little trouble trying to picture exactly how big corn snake eggs really are. So that pic gives me a real good mental picture. They are great looking eggs. Hope all of them hatch & are great feeders too!

Because I'm a curious little boy, I wanted to see if I could see any veins developing this early on. And yes, I can. Sorry for the crappy photo quality...

Woohoo! Veins!! ::runs to check on own eggs::

I actually had veins pretty much 5 days after they were laid. I just didn't take pictures of them then. LOL.

(Oh, and btw, I used one of those $2.97 laser pointer/flashlights that you can get at a WalMart checkout to candle. ;) )

Awesome Robbie, thanks for posting the lite eggs... I looked at mine the other evening and I was wondering what I was looking for. They looked similar so.... Woohooo!!!

How did I miss this earlier? Thanks for the candle shots (gee, that sounds like a mixed drink). I love the female's colors! Daddy's a handsome fellow, too. These babies should be gorgeous.
