It's a Miracle!!!! I lost Skully the snow corn LAST spring! She snuck out in the night and despite tearing the house apart I could not locate her anywhere! I gave up and declared her dead. She was my very first snake...an 06 and I was so upset.
BUT today my roommate called to say she got home from work and there was a white snake that she thought was one of mine in the yard. She caught it by wrapping her into a tshirt and throwing her into my pillowcase. And WOW oh WOW! I drove home fast and it was her!
She has a couple scabs and scars, but has definatly grown and is FAT! Good for her. But I held her and she was as sweet as ever. All of my other snakes are already up north but I had one last empty tank in the house...so in she went. How she survived the winter is beyond me...although I guess the wild ones do it.
I am dancing on air!!! I have my first baby back! NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!

Tara I am SO HAPPY for you!!
I was hoping for a happy Bumblebee ending, but this is just as good!
She's BEAUTIFUL!!!

Well, Good for you! And it's fat too!! I wonder what it was eating???

Give her a kiss for us.

It's a good day.

WONDERFUL NEWS!

You are so lucky! I have had something like this happen before, but it sure is rare! She is a real beauty!

Now don't you wish she could talk? It would be fun to hear about her adventure. Congrats on getting her back.
Terri

That is terrific news!!! I am so happy for you and the snake of course. She is beautiful. Congrats on getting her back. :) I love happy endings.

That is so cool, we found a snake once it is a wonderfull feeling!!! I keep hoping we will find my brothers corn that has been missing for nearly 2 years, unfortantly between being bright orange and a@# neighbors and the found snake a lot bigger when we found him there isn't much hope :(

Thanks so much everyone. And yeah...the odds were definatly long on this one. AND man..she really is fat. She must have been living under my house and eating the locals. LOL! Several people at work told me she must have heard I was moving and figured it was time to stop playing and get back to the good life.

And boy is she filthy...just covered in dirt. The dark spots you see in the pictures are scabs, but most is just plain dirt. I am going to bathe her and treat for mites just in case, but man So glad to have her home.

I for one am not voting for Tara to pay a teenager to go down and crawl around in the house crawlspace to see if Bumblebee is down there.
