'08 Dilute Project Update/Progression

Walter's updated photo of his spectacular dilute anery bloodred reminded me that my dilute anery stripe had just recently shed and was therefore due for an update! She's getting a mice little trace of yellow on her neck and a blush of pink as well.

How on earth did you get the lovely little thing to curl up patiently for a photo shoot? And how's #90 growing?

She is so beautiful! Does she have a name yet?

I haven't named any of the '08's yet. I even have several '07s without names. Sometimes the names come quickly and easily, but not always. Many of this year's babies need special, thought-out names.

I took her out while she was napping, then cupped my left hand over her, got the camera ready with my right hand, lifted my left, quickly focused and pressed the button. I don't let people see all the ones I discard with a head cut off or all blurry, etc. ;)

And I took some quick updated photos of most of the rest of the living room snakes. Here is #90 and #98 (who I think is going into blue).

And here is #95. I've been force feeding him for a few months now, but he finally took a pinky when teased today and ate it on his own! He would always grab them, start to swallow and then drop it in the past. I had also washed the pinky in Ivory bar soap, so that may have had something to do with it also. In any case, I'm thrilled!

And some updated photos of the dilute anery motley male I picked up at Daytona, freshly shed. He wasn't the most cooperative, really wanting to get at his dinner instead of posing for me.

#100 is going to be one of my most favorite snakes!
Female dilute anery stripe.
Any updates? I can't get enough of this girl!! :bang:

The photos of her on the red Christmas stocking, taken and posted on Dec 17th (see post #22), is about as updated as you can get. ;)

I finally finished cropping and resizing all of the update photos for all of the '08 hatchlings (keepers and the few remaining that were for sale, but I may just end up keeping, just because I'm attached to them now). Here, in order of appearance, are the dilute anery motley female, ghost motley male (poss het dilute), anery stripe female (poss het dilute), dilute anery stripe female, and the other anery stripe female (poss het dilute) that I hadn't originally planned on keeping.
