Go Ahead, Make My Day!
These aren't just the odd mistake or typo. I see these every day on this and other forums as well as by co-workers who are supposed to be professional. I'll probably be adding to this as I come across them and please feel free to post the ones you see!
Incorrect word - "witch" - seen quite frequently used in place of the proper word "which", as in "Which one of these snakes do you like best?"
Incorrect word - "mabey" - I can maybe see someone transposing the letters once or maybe even twice, but not every single time they use the word!
Incorrect word - "muzzel" - in a veterinarian's office, we sometimes have to muzzle dogs that are in pain. Same person also writes this: Incorrect word - "mussel" - dogs don't have sore shellfish, but they do get sore muscles!
Incorrect word - "lathargic" - I don't care how you mispronounce the word. If you spelled it correctly, just once, after the years of my correcting you, you might just get it that the word is lethargic, as in lethargy, not lathergy!
