I think it would be great if, temporarily to help bring down the population without killing people, we would make people get licenses to procreate. I guess not "sex licenses" since sex would be fine so long as no one got pregnant, but reproduction licenses. And you'd have to have a certain amount of money, pass a psychological evaluation, and have a certain IQ! *ducks head and prepares for more hate*

Sounds to me like you are living in the wrong Country.... you want to live in China or North Korea or Iran maybe.... you know, a Country where the government is there to monitor and control your life every step of the way.

Denounce your citizenship and surrender your passport ASAP so you can get to a Country where the government knows best and will protect you from yourself. I've got some luggage I could donate if you need it.....


Seriously.... you have no idea what you are talking about and it's progressing to the point where you are supporting REVOKING freedoms that MANY hundreds of thousands of good people have given their life to secure and defend. For 30+ pages, everyone (including myself) was civil and tried to explain things like, "pursuit of happiness." I'm certainly glad that my clinically depressed mother did not need a psychological evaluation in order to procreate. Because, were that the case, I would not be posting right now.

You know Aaron, I think people like Vicky are the reason that reading the Constitution should be mandatory in schools. Forget gym, cooking, woodworking and metal class. Too many people have no idea about the principles this nation was founded upon.

I think reading comprehension of the Constitution and Bill of Rights should be mandatory anyway. It would be very nice to have known what my rights were by the time I became an adult, and having sections of class dedicated to those would have helped out a lot. After a while it would become common knowledge and maybe people would stop trying to take away our rights.

While catching up on this post, made me think of how some people just don't think things through, Let's take a look at the people who voted for Obama... Did "Hope and Change" really help? How about throwing a BUNCH of stimulus money out there?
I wish i was old enough to vote back in 08 with the presidential election, I can't believe people actually fell for that shenanigans and actually voted for him, I feel bad for those of you..

I am of course only kidding. I would stand up for everyones rights and freedoms. If some choose not to exercise those rights or freedoms that is their choice. They should however not be taken away by the political gestapo. The same political cretins that have shown time and again their inability to make sound judgments in their own lives. Do we really want those that can't balance their own check book controlling more and more of the nations financial future? Should we trust those that are the epitome of corruption and malfeasance to create the laws that control our lives? Have we really reached the point of becoming a nation of sheeple that blindly follows a system that most openly admit has become a choice of the lessor of two evils? Our laws should be simplistic with little or no room for interpretation. Political loopholes I believe have put us in the position we are in today. Whether it is printing and spending with no accountability, abusing the commerce clause beyond any boundary, ignoring portions of the constitution intended to control the reach of the gov, etc. The list is endless. I for one still very much believe in the land of the FREE and the home of the brave. I really can't fathom how some would rather be led to pasture, branded, corralled, fed, inoculated, and eventually slaughtered at the whim of the caitiffs in DC. :shrugs:

Well Tsst, If I do not have to make my own decisions, how can I ever be accountable for my own actions? It sounds great to be a sheeple, but you know what, I would much rather be a Sheep dog, or even better, wild. I cannot stand the government destroying my livelihood just because they think it is not safe for me or others. That is exactly what they are doing with the whole python ban, and that is what they will do when they start trying to ban smoking, drinking, guns, motor cycles, procreation.

I do not see how the government can save me any more than I can save myself, and if they try, there will be resistance.

Our election results prove us to be one of the stupidest states in the nation.....truly.....the politicians that all had a hand in making this state one of the highest taxed, highest regulated and most business unfriendly in the entire country were either reelected or promoted to higher offices.

That woman should have been removed from office, years ago. I don't know why, but every time I see her, I want to punch a puppy. (figuratively speaking of course, I love puppies and would never knowingly hurt one.)

I will tell you right now, my husband and I only have 3 ties to this state that we have both grown up in.....and all 3 of those ties are in their mid 70s.
