Ashy/Cinder pics

Cinderazzo
Thought I'd start a new thread so as to not hijack toyah's Lots of baby Cinders thread.

This thread is open for all to post their Cinder pics so we can see some comparisons. There seems to be at least a few different color variations floating around out there.

These three are from 1.1 Upper Keys het C, Serpenco stock from his original female. (this pair is now owned by Walter Smith and the male is the one he's got advertised for sale)

1st - lightest of the 3 and my favorite 0.1
2nd - 1.0, slightly darker
3rd - 0.1, darkest with more of a brown background

All three have saddles leaning towards the red mohogany variation.

Thanx for looking! Post away!

The "Mahogany" is my favorite version of color in Cinders! They are beautiful. Your favorite is pretty but I think I like the darkest one the best...

Here is a "not so great" shot of a sister to the three Danny posted above.
She is doing GREAT Danny !!!
Oh BTW, thanks for the plug...;)

Walter,
:crazy02: BOUT' CORNS !!

I like the 3rd best, as well, but they're all very beautiful, Danny!

She's actually my least favorite at the moment, but I wanted both ends of the spectrum to see how they mature.

I want a cinder!!! I need to complete my "anery" collection! LOL

If I knew that, I could have delivered you one at Daytona. lol

Walter,

My pleasure!

Some very nice looking cinders!!:cool::cool::cool:

Beautiful cinders :)

Thanx to you both!

Tom, nice avatar btw.

LOL well if you ever you get tired of looking at her, let me know!
I was hoping to produce my own this year, but using poss hets so the dice could roll either way. Plus I might not get one such a lovely burgundy color.

You'll be the 1st person I'll think of!

This girl just shed today so I thought I'd show her off.

The last pic is her with her sister. To be fair, I admit the dark one is pre-shed. I think it's cool how one looks to be in the sun and one in the shade.

Lori and Jen, I'll be sure to post pics of "the dark one" after she sheds.

So, do I have this right.... these guys have a metalic color with brown?

I'm really feeling the love for the metalic/gray coloring.

I love the mahogany cinders the best! All of those posted are fabulous, IMO!

Oh they're absolutelu BEAUTIFUL!!!

Does anyone have any idea what a lavender trait would do to cinder? What would a lavender cinder or cinder het. lavender look like? Just wondering cause cinder seems to be a bit purplish anyway.

The flash makes them look a little more metallic-y than they really are. The lighter one has a definite gray background while the mahogany one is more or less brown all over.

What a difference between the two! I like the lighter phase the most.

Me too.

Thanx Susan! I kept these two because they showed the most extreme color difference in the clutch. It should be fun to do side by side progression pics as they mature. (I'm thinking the lighter one with my 1.0 Dilute Motley, shhhh!)

Thanx! There may be some het animals out there in someone's secret stash but I don't think they exist yet.

If I were you I'd start separate blood lines with them:

1. a darker and "pure" cinder line using miami to get more intense saddles and cleaner grey background

2. a lighter and pink/purple coloured line by breeding the lightest cinders with bubblegum snows.

that's what I'd do. :D
