Cinder combos pictures?

If I remember correctly, that animal is possibly het for Caramel as well, then. I believe the project that animal came from was where I bred GoldDust to Ashy.

OMG seriously Rich?? I am so psyched! Of course coming from your stock chances are that there are hidden hets in there....she is a joy too, one of my most trouble-free kids! The new info will also help me to find her a perfect mate, thanks!

I knew there was a reason why I started working with the ashy gene;)..there are so many combos to produce;)...

I don't think I have seen any caramel cinder photo but I do believe Walter Smith has had a butter cinder hatch out... Maybe if you do a search for "Buttermint" you can find the pic of it.

Jen is correct, I produced a Buttermint in 2010. Here is a couple pics. I recently posted.........

pic 1) Buttermint

pic 2) Buttermint & Peppermint comparison.

I have a shot at producing some other Cinder combos this season...;)

Walt,

Man, I hope you never get Anerythrism and/or Lavender into that mix. I think it will be darn difficult to tell Snows from Buttermints, and Opals from Peppermints. At least as babies, anyway. There is bound to be quite a bit of variation in them even without those additional wild cards thrown in.

It will be interesting to see how much yellow that Buttermint produces as it matures. After the results I got breeding Anerythrism into Caramel, I became kind of convinced that yellow really had nothing to do with Caramel, but it was difficult to accept this sort of hypothesis looking at the results of simply combining Amelanism with Caramel to produce Butters.

I do hope you guys get this all figured out before I die. I had an awful lot of puzzling and seemingly unanswerable questions about this stuff when I exited the stage.

Hey :)

That Amel Cinder Stripe is awsome!!

Here is our Diffused Cinder male from 2010:

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm really surprised at how subtle the coloration is expressed on neonates in the Amel based Cinder combos. The adults came from Carol Huddleston. The project starter breeders was Peppermint X Butter.
Carol usually lets me know if there are any poss. traits in animals I aquire from her and as far as I know Anery is not involved in the grandparents.

This guy still has alot of growing to do, so there is still time for the yellows to come in. I remember when you first started producing Butters way back when and they hatched out looking alot like Snows and the yellows came in with maturity. I'm thinking we are seeing the same effect here....:shrugs:

I kind of like the subtle coloration of the buttermint. I'd sure like to see what the first peppermint looks like these days!!

To prove out the opal cinder, I would breed the first year to the peppermint stripe.
If she is cinder, I should get all peppermints. Then the following year, I would breed to an opal stripe.
Should get all opals. Breeding F2s would be very exciting! Oh Carol....

Wow, I guess I was wayyy wrong about how many Cinder combos there are out there.. but I'm happy that I was, because all of these pictures are awesome!!

This morph still has a lot of growing room though, can't wait to see what others produce!

WOW!
That buttermint is AWESOME!!!

Now I know for sure I have to make some caramel-cinder mixes.

Thanks you guys, and keep posting all combos :)

ooo all these new morphs coming into my head are exciting.

So the lavender gene wouldn't work? Too bad I would have loved to see what a plasma would look like if possible in the future.

WE may just see what a plasma cinder will look like this year keeping my fingers crossed :devil01:

OMG you DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He looks just like my Ellabelle!!!!!
Maybe we can work something out in a few years....either a breeding loan or breed them to others and do a baby trade.

Yeah, I waited a little long to buy because NO ONE would sell cinders at that price much less ultra cinders ;) , but then I remembered that the Bell's had bought Rich's remaining animals and it was probable so I went back but he was the only one left but it fit my plan because at that point I needed a male with cinder genes.

I am sure we can figure something out, a breeding loan or trade of babies. I really want to see an ultra peppermint.
