DAYTONA 2011!!!

The Hilton is $119 for the room, then $10 a day for wireless, then $12 a day for parking! Crazy. It's not like you're out laying on the beach all day; it takes the whole day to not even see all of the show. Plus it is _crazy_ noisy at night due to the bar/music at the pool.

The Homewood also gives us two free rooms then for that matter. We get the entire dining room and the meeting room to set up all the prizes for the raffle. And this is without having to have a contract or minimum number of rooms or anything else. They have treated us so well at that hotel, and with the prices - just can't really beat it. Free parking, free continental breakfast also.

There was a reason I switched from Hilton to Homewood. :crazy02:

I know this is probably a repeat but could you give the options to me again? I am seriously trying to make this trip! Happy Bday to me! Is there anyone still looking for a roomie?

Rates will be $79 for a standard suite, $89 for a one bedroom suite and $139 for a suite with two queen beds.

It looks like it will just be me attending this year. If there is someone who wants to share a room at the Homewood, I'm willing. I'll even volunteer to give you the bed. I'll be there for Fri and Sat nights only. If I get no takers, I'll possibly go with my usual hotel to keep my costs down.

is there still a two-bedroom option for $159? it was mentioned in the beginning, but not in any of the more recent posts.

anyone getting excited yet?

I would have to check on a two bedroom option. There is still an option for a room with two queen beds though for $139.

Still have rooms left. Only guaranteed to be available at our discount until August 1st. Let me know who still needs one?!?!

Finances are going to be the deciding factor as just $10+ a night plus gas and parking at the expo will make a difference. Now if someone would like to share a room and split expenses, let me know!
