Dear Friends...

Oh goodness, Please lord stand next to this family and provide them with extra loving and care during this difficult time.

Fred, my friend, you and your family are in my thoughts. Be strong and know that you have many friends who care for you.

While it's hard to let a family member go how blessed is your grandfather...96 fruitful years? My grandfather was 93 when he moved on and he was sharp as a tack.

Your family is in my prayers...

So sorry to hear that Fred, you've been missed! Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!

Fred, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers and I wish you all the best. It's very tough losing someone I'm sure everyone in your family looked up to, and as difficult as it sounds, instead of dwelling on his passing, try to remember all of the wonderful memories you have of your Grandfather and the long and happy life he lived. We're all thinking of you.

Fred, you and your family will be in my thoughts. Best wishes to you and everyone in your extended family through this difficult time.

Looks like my brother and I will be heading out soon after we know the arrangement plans. It'll be good to make the trip with him. My Dad sounds better over the phone (if not a little grouchy that I don't pick up on the first ring... LOL) than he did earlier in the day... So that's a great deal of comfort to me.

I want to thank everyone for this outpouring of support. Ya'll are just awesome and I appreciate you.

I know that I haven't been on here very much recently... sticking to the Football threads for the most part... I do plan on getting back into the swing of things and spending time online with ya'll. :)

I just wanted to ask that those of you who would, keep my extended family close to your hearts for the next week or so. The Patriarch of our family - my Grandfather - passed away today. He was 96 years old and lived a long and fruitful life, but that doesn't make his passing any easier on all of us.

Getting to and from El Paso will also be a stretch... whether or not I bring my entire family or find a ride over there with another relative is all up in the air. Things are tight for everyone... So some relatives might not be able to make it. Keep them in your thoughts as well.

It'll be a tough couple of weeks, with the thoughts, prayers and well wishes of you all and our other friends, our family will get through to the other side.

Thanks for reading and "listening". As always, I appreciate this community.

Fred

Hi Fred,
I am truly sorry for your loss.
What remains of our passage in this world is only a handful of memories, cherish and embrace these memories- I know from my own experience that you can learn a lot about a person through reviewing these memories... and know what that person was about.
I am sure he affected all of you in many positive ways.
He is now in a better place, I am sure, with no aches, full of vitality and accompanied by angels.

May he rest in peace, and may you and your family know no more sorrows.

Oren.
