Favorite Current TV Shows!

I love Weeds!
But I also love It's Always Sunny!
Scrubs is pretty much the only hospital based show I actually like.
I haven't watched Big Brother in a few years, but I kinda hate it now.
And I've always despised Bachelor/Bachelorette.

For the good stuff, try Battlestar Galactica (Nerd alert! Nerd alert!)

Tavia, did you watch American Horror Story yet?

Not really my cup of tea. I did watch a few episodes of Weeds, it wasn't bad but just didn't capture my attention. Since I've heard so many raves about it, I might try OITNB but I don't think that will be up my husband's alley.

Chuck was great, not completely pleased with the ending but it was okay. Anything with Adam Baldwin in it has been good so far.

Oooh, I love Nurse Jackie!!

Smigon- I got the BB Live Feed this season, and watched for 15.5 hours yesterday!! The only reason I stopped is because I had to get up at 0430 for work.

HA! That is hilarious! I do watch BB After Dark (not this year yet) but have streamed the live feeds on my computer many times.

I love Donny (with the beard), Hayden (long beautiful blonde hair, great personality AND a brain??? Where were you 20 years ago? Wait... don't answer that) and Devin (hellooooo, abs!).

Amber is gorgeous, but none of the girls really stood out to me yet.

I have NO idea who Frankie's "famous" sister is. Never heard of her!

I despise Cody, just nasty.

Who are your favorites and least faves?

DYK, I don't watch big brother so I have no idea who Frankie or his sister is, but this piqued my interest and I had to look it up. Arianna Grande is known mostly on Nickelodeon shows. I only know this because while living with my mother my nephew was at our house every other weekend and he watched Nickelodeon and Disney channel obsessively. She has a crazy annoying high pitched voice that she uses for her character on a couple shows, but I don't think it's her real voice.

And that's about all I can contribute. Nickelodeon, annoying voice.

Speaking of Adam Baldwin, he's in The Last Ship (admittedly a large part of the reason I decided to give the show a shot).

My favorites are once upon a time, Bones, Big bang theory, firefly when it was on, dr. who.

I don't watch much tv, it really taxes my eyes but i will start watching the new show starting on starz on Aug. 9th at 9 pm called outlander. I've been waiting for this show to start since it was announced 2 years ago. Based on the Diana Gabaldon book series outlander, it is called a historical, romantic, adventure, with a little scifi thrown in the mix. I've read all the books and they really hold intrest and i love the fact it is filmed in Scotland, You can see the magic and beauty of this country in every shot of the preview.

A brief summery; A 1945 war nurse fall through a magical set of standing stones, back to 1743 scotland, leaving her gentle husband behind, After meeting his cruel sedistic ancester she is rescued by a group of highlanders, and her adventures begin.

I would advise reading the books, The history is rich and accurat, i've checked a lot of it out. It is on starz, but this one will get to netflix after the first season.

My daughter has got me watching Supernatural on Netflix. I hate to admit it but I am kind of into it now. (except for all the fangirl crap she tells me about, lol)

Oh my goodness, that show is insane. I've never seen it before, but I've seen enough about it on social media.

Supernatural is a rather great show till the later seasons. It's actually one of the few shows I've watched in my life that didn't lose steam around season 4-5. So many great characters, the occasional 4th wall breaking, the banter, it's just all great.

Connie picked out a new TV series for us to try the other day when we were looking for some new movies. She said she heard good things about it, so we were going to give it a try. Veep.

Seriously? I spent my money on that? It's the entire first season, and I seriously doubt we will watch any more beyond that. Matter of fact this will likely be another one thrown on the scrap pile.

And just how long have I been living out here in the woods? That sort of profanity and crudeness is now OK and the norm on TV these days?

Sheesh.... This sort of stuff makes me very glad I don't even have TV service hooked up.

While Veep isn't quite the norm, especially since it can get away with a lot more due to being HBO produced, tv has definitely gotten a fair bit worse over the years. There's still gems, but I have to admit there is an abundance of crap and garbage too. Don't think I've ever heard anything good about Veep myself, so I never bothered with it.

I'm watching Big Brother now. This is the first year I have paid for live feeds. I watch it every waking hour. I watch 15-16 hours on Saturdays! The live feed is _so_ worth it.
