First I just wanted to say congrats on such a beauty, even with the kinks. I too have a couple that had kinks that didnt seem bad enough to euthanize for. They both shed fine, ate right away and are two of my nastiest/fiesty babies....LOL One is a hypo lav who looks to be either het or homo blood. The other is a hypo something???? Both are from the "mystery" breedings I did this year. It figure that the only Hypo Lav Blood I hatched was severly kinked :( Oh well... murphy is mean. These two though are something else. They are the first to chow and have no poop/pee issues either! I too hope to find good homes for them, or maybe I will keep one or both. Either way, it was great of you to give the beauty a chance!

Also, CONGRATS on the first non assisted meal, how did you get her to eat finally? Take care, Lindsay

LOL aye I thought it was rather amusing. Still not got any chicks and I cooked the fresh chicken the other night. Forgot to save a bit for pinkie scenting purposes but had a packet of that in the fridge and wanted to give it a go.

Processed chicken slices, thats a new non feeder tip!
 
Well desperate times call for desperate measures, there was no other chicken substance in the house and she was due to be fed! I sacrificed my lunch for her LOL. (wasn't going to eat the last chicken slice after I had rubed pinkie all over it)
 
She is really a gorgeous little girl! I read through the whole thread anxious to see if she'd eat and I'm really glad that she did!

I hope you continue to have good luck getting her established! :cheers:
 
Sad news (having to euthanise one of the other non feeders) and good news tonight. Fetish decides she wants to strike feed, on her own. I am rather pleased...

Thanks :) I just want to see her gain at least 10 grams so I can assess just how bad her kinks are. If she continues to eat, poop and shed perfectly then I see no reason why she should not be given a chance in life. He kinks aren't even asthetically bad, you hardly notice them as she is striped. You can only feel them when you run her through your fingers.

Full of attuitude aswell, I'm scared of her ;)
