Gettin a 'phant

Do you guys think I should get a hippopotamus? Or a rhinocerous? I just like saying those words out loud....

Why are you all ignoring my 600 pound gorilla?!? HOW can you ignore the 600pound gorilla in the room?!?!

Goodness, I just wish you would all grow up. SO immature...:poke:

Hey...does anyone know why my 600 pound gorilla won't eat? I talked to the vet and she said my husbandry is perfect, but she gave me a course of antibiotics and recommended I change everything...just to be safe. It has been an absolutely wonderful pet...calm and gentle, unlike what the zoo told me. She just won't eat...Any tips or advice?:twohammer:duck:

Jesus Christ the vet told me to change my lighting system thats it. She said I genuinly care about the animal and seem to care for it great. You have not worked with the species and I don't think you ever will the way you talk about them. Every herper has feeding issues at one point or another. I changed the rest of the stuff

Dude...what are you talking about? This conversation has nothing to do with you...does it? I have not read a single mention of you, your animals, your vet, your issues, or your concerns...have you?

Face it David...this thread is not for you, not about you, and has nothing to do WITH you. So quit trying to make it about you. It isn't.

It's merely a bunch of bored individuals having a good laugh on the internet...

Now can we please get back to my 600 pound gorilla? Jeesh...it doesn't even HAVE lights...Any other recommendations?

Your 600lb gorilla has SAD! It needs lights. No wonder it's not eating!

Nuh-uh!! My vet said that everything was perfect and I had outstanding husbandry. She said it was obvious I cared very deeply about my gorilla. She could tell by how healthy and gentle it is.

Even after I went home and made all of the changes that she recommended...it still won't eat. It's happy, gentle, docile, and calm...it just won't eat...

I've alays heard the Asian elephants are better beginers. Africans get larger and can go on feeding strikes with out the proper husbrandry.
