Gettin a 'phant

The Devils Advocate
When I was 6 I went to the cinema and saw Dumbo. I was like wow I want one so I researched them for about 3 yrs then when I was 9 I went to the circus and saw another, and thought I would get one.... Now a couple of years later my mom and I live in a flat and she said I can get one and keep it on the balcony.
I have a little hat for it so I think I am ready.

Oh yeah? Well *I'm* getting a baby dragon! I've read all about them in books like Anne McCaffrey's Pern series and the Elvenbane series! I've got some leather welding gloves and live right next to a school so when it's bigger it can have plenty of children to eat if it won't take FT rabbits.

Is it going to be a pink 'phant?

Perhaps it can co-habit on the balcony with a Lion? ;)

I hear their husbandry is a real pain in the butt...

I don't know Mike, I just think 'phants are kind of boring now. I fed one leaves at the zoo, and I just about fell asleep.

Ooooooooooooooooooooh... A wolf! I'll take one of those, too!

And one of those giant freshwater stingrays. The ones that are like 600+ lbs! (I'm serious about that stingray)

You could probably keep it in a big size dog house. They don't get very big. I saw a picture of one once.

If I could Mike, I'd like to recommend a panda. They are well liked on these boards, yet not everyone has one yet.

I'm gonna get a 600 pound gorilla. They just do so well at tying a room together... And they are so much more exotic and rare than an obnoxiously boring panda or elephant...

I could write up a care sheet for a 600 pound gorilla in the room. Anyone interested?

Rugs are really good at tying rooms together too...

Why write a care sheet? Don't they just eat bananas?

Yes...but they require specialized care for handling them, and I am quite positive that I am the only person qualified to write a care sheet on them. I mean...there are at least a billion Chinese that could tell you how to care for a Panda. But what everyone THINKS they know about 600 pound gorillas is wrong. I am the only one that knows the proper way to handle them...It requires a tremendous amount of tenacity and tenderness. There bite has not been studied near enough, but I have performed my own research on their raw power, and I'm quite convinced that they are not the pet for everyone...just me...

But they look so harmless Chris. I do love their hairdo's though.
