Granite, now with MORE pink!

Ophidiophile.
Okay, so Mica's had a few sheds since his last photo-op. He's also gone from slightly over 100 grams to 148. He's a fast grower compared to my other '09s and they all get fed at the same 6-7 day rate. :shrugs: Oh, well. I loves him.

Anyways, it's kind of hard to deny that something is going on with this kid. Is it strawberry? Is it a hidden dilute gene? Maybe red factor? Who knows! I have a Ghost Stripe het Blood, Dilute and a Hypo Pewter het Cinder Anery Mot to test him with in a few years. Fingers crossed for some good results!

Behold, Sir Pinkiness!

Also, you wouldn't believe how this guy looks in person in full sun. Yowza!

Thanks for looking! :}

Holy Cow if the colors are real it´s an absolut stunner.
havent seen that much pink on a granite before congratz!

Thanks, all! His colors are indeed true.

He comes from Don at SMR. I've sent him regular updates and he's not sure why he's showing so much pink. I can't remember his parents exactly...I just know he's phet Charcoal, Motley, and P/S. Don thinks it's most likely the "red coat/factor" showing, though he doesn't remember putting anything like that in this line. :shrugs:

One would normally expect a more peachy pink in a granite, not a hot pink! WOW!! Can't wait to see what it proves out to be!
