Hello everyone! I am a very new snake owner, I've had my slithery friend for about five days now, and I love her! She has been a total dream, I have not had any problems with her thus far. I was really worried the first time I held her that I might hurt her, or drop her, etc. and I was also afraid the first time I fed her that she wouldn't eat (I've heard that happens sometimes). However, she eats very well, to my relief!
I got my snake from a breeder in Spokane (about a three hour trip from where I live), and he was extremely helpful, he said that he's the largest breeder in Spokane, and I wouldn't doubt it, he had a lot of very beautiful snakes
. Before I left he even sexed her for me, which, he said that the guy he worked with was better at pooping them than he is, but I noticed that he went from the belly down, and I watched a youtube video where they went from the belly up, so I don't know if he did it wrong, or perhaps it's just a different technique, I'm not sure
. Anywho, she is a seven month old Lavender Motley Het Hypo, with possible Het Amel, Anery, and Caramel. I know what everything means except for the het, I'll have to look that one up.
Ted was really awesome though, he happily answered every question I had, he even took me through his breeding room and showed me most of his snakes, and he told me if I ever have a question I can send him a text
I have to admit, half the reason I joined was just to show off my baybeh!
