Noah is a 2007 (we think) anerythristic Pioneertown locality. I named him Noah because I spent the whole prior week checking the NOAA website every three hours, for Fay updates. I abandoned house and home to the tropical storm and drove through Fay all the way to Daytona. Noah rode to Daytona from Metairie, and enjoyed Fay for his first days in Daytona! Then, we drove home through even more lingering rain bands. I need Noah to build me an ark!

This is his true color:

YAY! You got him! Congrats, Noah is a beautiful boa! You can never leave empty handed...;)

I met Noah's breeder before I met him. Mitch Allen, a wonderfully friendly Louisianna guy, took plenty of time to describe the intricasies of feeding stubborn kingsnake hatchlings to Katie. He was recommended to us as the guy to go to for...whatever they were that Katie was looking for, but he didn't have any, so he took us to see some mex mex??? that he'd spotted previously. When I passed by his table later, he pointed out this increidble rosy, with BLUE eyes. It was love at first sight. I had been bitten by the rosy bug about a year ago, when a vendor dropped an adult into my arms, but after tons of research, still couldn't pick a locality. No question here- this was the snake. I'd even vowed last fall to stop buying anything except corns. Oops. I couldn't help myself. I finally decided I couldn't live without him, and, shoot!!! Mitch doesn't take credit cards. I spent the next couple hours wandering the show dejectedly, with my helpful friends pointing out much cheaper rosies, but it just wasn't the same. He is nearly one of a kind. I may never see another one like him. I _almost_ walked out without him, but I just couldn't. You don't want to know what I did to come up with the cash...Fortunately, Katie caught me emptying the ATM, and offered to go ahead and see if she could bargain Mitch down a bit. I can't do it. I just can't. So she told him I was emptying my bank account, and would he consider $20 less? He sold me the snake for $25 off his asking price.

Mitch has an on-going supply of het anery females, when the time comes. I made sure to find out. I spent a lot of time holding Noah at the show, and despite dire warnings of possible bitings, he never even hinted that he would like to eat me.

Yay, you got a Snausage!!! Those eyes are stunning, Nanci. What a great story, and also a great visual of you emptying the bank machine!

Congrats again on the Squishy, Nanci!

Just so y'all know, he looks INCREDIBLE in person, and the pictures are pretty darn good representation!

Wow, that that's a Rosy with some seriously gorgeous colouring, Noah is stunning and those eyes are awesome! :)

Congratulations on becoming a squishie owner

Oh Nanci, he is just gorgeous! Congrats!

I was looking at Rosies before I got my Hogg Is. but there are too many colors to choose from.

I know! That's exactly how I felt!! And albino is pretty common, so I couldn't decide if I liked albino or normal better, either! I just think Noah is so unique an amazing. And he is very sweet. Which could just be a trick to get people to buy him. The breeder said his males were fairly handleable, but the females were voracious, for human!!

Oh Nanci, he's GORGEOUS! He looks great out by the pool. I'm a sucker for Blue eyes as well.. that's how I ended up with my kitty. He's a Flame Point Siamese with sparkly blue eyes. I'm not really a cat person, but I've vowed that if I ever find a Black cat with Blue eyes that I will immediately snatch it up. I've seen VERY few.. one at the pet store, which I WILL NOT buy a cat from.
Sorry for the off topic rambling. My point being, I can see why you couldn't resist him!!!

I look forward to many more picture updates. :p

Nanci!

He is gorgeous! I really can't believe how pretty he is (handsome). I'm glad that you got him so that we can see more pics in the future.

I guess he's already full grown?

Congrats on the purchase! He's great!

Fred
