I know this is an old idea but a good one! Most corn lovers also have lots of other animal-loves in their life. I'd like to see pictures of everyones'! Here's mine to kick it off!

Lol thanks! Our house is a haven for animals, that's for sure. Spoiled! @Iguanagirl, thanks! Jilly is my special lady! She came from an abuse case that I heard of through the rescue where I used to volunteer and now work. She is just a joy. High energy usually but she will crash on the couch with me for a movie no problem! I just love her to pieces!

I have way too many to post them all, but here are some of my favorite non-corn pets:

Lucy (Blue Eyed Leucistic Ball Python)

@VickeyChaiTea, man you have a zoo! It makes me miss my hamsters!
@SteelJawEmily, your horse is so beautiful! I grew up with a horse named Cheif! =)

LOVE the pics ya'll, keep em comin!

Wendy: I must admit I was never a big piebald python fan.....But yours with those markings is really incredible. Very nicely balanced. The others you have are very nice in their own rights. Just had to comment on that though cause like I said was never really a fan till now.

You're kidding me, right? You want me to spend the day photographing 10 (6 Border Collies and 4 Pomeranians) dogs, an old cat, 9 macaws and a Blue front Amazon? LOL! That doesn't even count the snakes.

I'm tired, and the Fibro is kicking my backside this week, so I think I'm more likely to just enjoy all of your beautiful photographs. It's always so fun to look at others' pets!

We have three non-snake pets. Two cats and a rabbit. All of them have been rescue animals.

Steve, the mohawk kitty, was from a friend who found a pregnant cat that had babies. I adopted him from that litter. He's your typical smug cat with that "One day I'm going to kill you" attitude. But underneath it all, he's a real sweetheart.

Mary was a stray that wandered into someone's garage and had kittens (at only 9 months old!!); they found homes for her kittens, but she still needed a home. We couldn't resist her, and I always feel bad for the adult animals that never get homes, so she came home with us. She's one of the sweetest and most quiet cats I've ever known.

And Violet, the rabbit, was from a local rabbit rescue. She was rescued from a pound that had her with a bunch of male rabbits who would urinate all over her to mark her. When we got her she still had pretty bad urine stains and didn't like people at all; she had obviously been abused. But after a year or so, she finally started to come around. And now she is an absolute sweetheart. She couldn't be any friendlier and loves being around people and held and picked up and pet. I'm glad that she got a happy ending.

Freshly back from the groomer's!

First time they slept together (they were bitter enemies for a few months when we brought Mary home, but are now best buds)

She likes to hop up on the couch and start begging for some attention...

Viki, Blastoise is so beautiful! I hope I can find a betta as pretty when I'm ready.

Matthew, that bunny is heartrendingly beautiful. There was one just like that at the shelter, she was my favorite and I wish I could have taken her home.

I have 3 non corns, and these guys:

with plans to get a betta eventually. I got my 5 gallon tank last night!

This is Ciana...She is my brother's dog technically, but we live together and I see her as my dog too. She's the best and she always keeps us happy!.

This is Rajon...He's my buddy and he's always looking to get some sort of affection. I adopted him a few years ago and since then he's pretty much my sidekick. A little sneaky with loose food, but other than that he's perfect.

52-1.jpg

This is Calvin...He's a little bit temperamental, but he has a sweet side. You just have to approach him softly or else he gets sensitive.

This is Milo...He's grown a lot since this photo, but he's pretty much the perfect cat. He's always being sweet and he's had a great affect on Calvin, our other cat. To say he's a baby is an understatement though. He doesn't cry at all, but he always loves attention. He follows me around a lot too, but I love it; he's special.
