I won this girl at the Daytona dinner raffle. Stephen Wagner produced her by crossing two Caramels het Hypo Amel. I believe one of the grandparents was from his "Mystery line." Stephen's best guess was Caramel Phantom, but hypothesized that Lavender may also be causing her odd appearance.

She has blue/grey eyes with red pupils...I'll double check that tomorrow. What has a yellow nose and pink cheeks? :shrugs:

I know only breeding trials will say for sure, but what are your guesses on this girl's genetics?

i will run a full dna scan for you, but in order to get the sample, i need the snake, i will pm u my address so you can ship her to me right away

well she got here safely and while i was collecting the sample she told me that she wants to stay here (im parseltongue fluent)
and the dna test proved inconclusive

Very pretty. I wonder if she will stay looking like that. (...probably not...)

Innocent question, I forget, in a homo amel (which she would not be with the pupils you described), that could be homo caramel and homo lavender,...which would mask which (and to what degree), caramel or lavender?

She is an '09, but only weighs in around 30 grams. So she has some growing up, and changing, to do. A little yellow is already creeping into her neck.

I would guess that Lavender masks Caramel...like Anery A & B do. I think Amel would be fairly obvious in homo form here.

What a gorgeous girl! Not what I usually go for in corn snake colors, but she may make me change my mind!

Ah but in the meantime, you can always keep us updated on her fine looks!

I can definitely see the Phantom! As soon as I saw her picture I started comparing her to my girl.

Those blue eyes also point to Phantom.

Beyond that... well.. that's why they call it a "mystery" line.. :noevil: :grin01:
aka: I have no idea!

I know the genetics don't add up, but it looks a lot like my hypo lavender. Very pretty!!

She looks like my baby lavender, especially with the red pupils. I do kinda see a caramel appearance to her, though, so maybe caramel phantom is it.
No matter what she is, she is a pretty little thing.
