New Arrival: 0.1 Matrix-Hypo ('05)

I'm not sure who she'll be paired with. She's hypoA, so I might as well keep that in the mix. So I guess I'll be pairing her with a hypo male that isn't even het for any other pattern gene. I don't know if I have that in my collection, but I'll figure something out. :)

You know... I have a hypo a male from Connie and Chuck that is not het for any pattern morphs... it is het for lavender, but nothing else that we are aware of. He'll be big enough to go this next year. *hint hint, nudge nudge*

Na, she needs to be crossed with this gentleman. :) Although a "normal" male would be better that way you'll have a better idea in F2. Cross her with this male and you could get a whole clutchfull and we still wouldn't know if it was recessive or not. :eek1:

Dean, shes Gorgeous, and I know if I lived in the states, you would chose My hypo fuzzucket. Hes as vibrant as she is, and would help to refine that perfect hypo colouration in the babies!

Hah! That gentleman is about the most handsome corn I've ever seen. Even if he's not the best choice, you can send him to me, and I'd breed him to her. Then I'll use him on about 18 other females. I'll ship him back to you as a dry husk of a snake. His hemipenes will fall off! :grin01:

Jeff: Hey, that ice sounds good too! But I should probably isolate the gene (if it is a single gene) without as little influence from other genes as possible. :(

Elle:FB would be a great candidate too. Of course, I'd rather just figure something out on my own and retain full control of all offspring. :dgrin:

Not whacked at all, Tim. But I'm really hoping that the look isn't the result of developmental stress in the egg or polygenetics (as ZZ and Aztec seem to be). We'll see.

WOW!!! :eek1: That girl is just insane Dean. Please put me on the waiting list for future hets. Congrats on a super pick-up. On a 1-5 cool scale that's a definite     3/4.

Glad to see she went to someone on the forum! Nova is a perfect name for her as well.

It was an intentional choice (placing her with a forum member). She had a good life here with me, but it was time to be realistic about my situation and the resources (time, etc.) that I have to devote to my animals and, more specifically, this project.

Again, I wish you the best of luck Dean. She is indeed one very special girl.

Keep in touch.

Even if she never proves out, she's remarkable and unique in her own right. A masterpiece.

Nanci
