Opal Stripe, Mango, Arrives!

Probably fortunately, I am not familiar with SNL Mango. But I do remember Vikki (calivik) used to call her husband that, and it was funny and her husband was hot.
 
Yes, beautiful, Nanci. Gosh you got pictures up quick. He looks more colorful than in the VMS pics, but then I guess he's older. And I can see the need for an orange name.
Definitely one of the prettiest snakes I've seen. He looks so delicate, like he'd break. Very pretty.

DYK I have a snake named "PAT" after the SNL character. I do not know what it is lol.
So it's name is just Pat.

Here's his VMS pic. I think it's a titch over-exposed. The pics I took, on the plate, are under a halogen light, so that gives a yellow cast to everything, but he truly is very peach.

Nanci, I just figured you knew. About Mango on SNL. Chris Kattan is hilarious. But last week, I wasn't going to hammer (encourage) you about the name "Mango", because the SNL skit is so...quirky. You either love it or hate it.

I'm going to send you pictures of a couple of my snakes and make you name them... I'm stumped! ;)
 
I pretty much stick with color/food names! Mango, Cherry, Choco, Pepper, Lily, Lila, Jasper, Jasmine, Bacon, Buttercup, Olivia, KoKo, Ruby...
 
Thank you! I hope he comes out tonight. You know what I think will be cool. I don't think he will get the yellow on his sides like Pepper has. I predict that they will be similar, otherwise. I can't wait to photograph them together someday! And to photograph Mango with his future bride!!
 
Aww, he is so purtty--though now I will always think of that skit when I see him. Hopefully he isn't a diva though--and eats like a good snakie!
