Opal Stripe, Mango, Arrives!

Nanci

Alien Lover
First of all, I would like to thank Zorro (John) for calling my attention to this snake. What a perfect example of one CS.com friend looking out for another. I can't believe John didn't grab this lovely creature up for himself!! Thank you so much, John. This baby puts my opal stripe project YEARS ahead of where I was.

So here he is, Mango, produced by Sean Niland of VMS Herpetoculture. (My third VMS snake!) Mango weighed in at 12 grams.

I didn't want to stress him too much, so I only took two glamour shots before putting him away.

Mango had a nice long drink while holding tightly onto my hand.

Here's Mango's viv for the next year or so. I put a towel over most of it to keep things quieter for the next week. See him climbing in his vine?

Thank you! I wanted to make my own, but this snake was just too good to be true. I can't believe I have him!!!

Nanci,
You just make me scream! LOL Just kidding! Lovely young man you have there. So where would a "Powder" fit into your future breeding plans? Or how about a female Avalanche Stripe?

Love ya
PJ

I love that Powder! I'm going to try very hard to make a female avalanche stripe next year. Mr. Pepper had an opportunity for some lovin' a few weeks ago, but unfortunately he was afraid of snakes so Mr. Jasper had to step in for him. However, Pepper had better change his mind by next spring, or I know where to go for a replacement!!
