Our new puppy!

Kiss My Hearse
Meet Winslowe. She's eight weeks old and half Chihuahua, one quarter Yorkie and a quarter American Eskimo. She is so much fun and she's so mellow. She's housetraining pretty well already. Our older dog is helping with that, the old dog goes out nearly every hour anyway to pee. Winslowe came from a co-worker's brother who's female Yorkie/Eskie cross had accidentally gotten with his sister-in-law's Chi. It was totally unplanned. I spoke up right away and said we wanted one if he was just looking for good homes and not planning to make money off of them. Two of the pups are being taken by other family members and the fourth one in the litter has apparently been sold off by the sister-in-law. I picked Winslowe up last night and she slept through most of the night. There was a short bout of whimpering when we went back to bed after a three am potty trip. She settled down quickly and was fast asleep within ten minutes. She's been to the vet today for an exam, shots and deworming. She's a real trouper. Right now she's sleeping on daddy, who blew out his knee on Tuesday and is laid up waiting for surgery. They are so cute together!! Ok, on to the pics!

You can really see the chi in her, and I adore chis!!
She's just beautiful!
Who can resist a face like that?

Oh no....postin puppy-pics here should be illegal! She's just the cutest little thing! Her face is saying "Me don't quite now what's going on hear, but lemme bee part of it!" :D

I can definitely see the chi in her and a bit of the american eskimo...I probably would have never guessed yorkie. She sure is a cutie!!

Cute little dog you have there! It's nice she has your other dog as a friend, I bet they're cute together.

Thanks, guys! I haven't had a puppy in over 20 years. Tiv was 2 yrs old when I got her and our late great Bob was 8 mths old. I used to raise Guide Dogs as a kid, so it's been a looong time since starting from square one. Winslowe's making it pretty easy so far, but I'm sure she'll have her naughty days, too.

She's just a puddle of precious puppiness! What a face on her! Best of luck with that one. She looks like she has orneriness to spare!

UPDATE

Winslowe is now 12 weeks old, 3 whopping pounds and is full of herself. She's a darling pup and a really good dog, but she has her moments. She will "come up" and jump into my hands to get on the sofa. She will play fetch like nobody's business. She only has accidents inside if I'm not able to watch her when the hubby is playing with her. She'll piddle in front of the baby gate because she knows she needs to go out, but my husband can't see her from the other room. We love her to pieces!

She is really, really cute. And I do believe I can see all three ingredients in her. She does look sassy.
My Brutus's dad was a miniature dachshund, and his mom a black lab. He looks like a perfect midpoint between the two..

I've seen pics of doxidoodles, or whatever name they've been given. Most of them are a nice mix of lab and doxie.
