Mine least favorit is a caramel motley. I love regular caramel's, just not caramel motleys. Go figure.

I'm not a fan of most amels. Some really catch my eye, but for the most part, I'd take a normal over an amel.

I don't really think of them in this way.. There are some morphs that I'm not fond of- For instance butters- but then I will see them in a combo that I really like, or I'll see the odd one or picture that blows me away. So I don't think I can really say no to such broad swaths of a gene..
Another example- I am not crazy about amel, but some of my favorite morphs are amels (opals, fires etc.)
Maybe the only gene I haven't really liked in any combo (and I have to specify YET cause I know now to never say never, lol) is motley.

I haven't seen a caramel I liked yet. Straight up caramel, that is. Adding sunkissed to caramel improves them considerably IMO, but I still wouldn't want to keep one. Adding amel to caramel improves things greatly, but I'm still really picky about it. I only like those butters that have deep, rich, saturated yellows--like the sunglow version of a butter. Otherwise, I don't like butters, either.

I feel the same way about amels. I only like the deep, rich, saturated amels--like sunglows, ones with good color and teeny bits of white, and fires. Otherwise, I don't like amels either.

I voted other. I've said this before, but - I really don't get the bloodred craze. They don't do much for me. Even though everybody else seems have one or want one and all these breeders love to combine every morph there is with bloodred, I want nothing to do with them. I guess I like patterns more than sold colors or something.

That's why I want a Pewter motley or a Granite Motley... the best of both worlds for me :) Of course, I'm not looking for a patternless snake, so guess my bloods will never be the best of the best :)

I'm not overly fond of most amels, but I don't care much for yellow snakes either... although I've seen one or two that I liked... just not enough to take them home :)

Great thread!!

I don't like cinder/ashy/z corns. They just don't do it for me. I have seen some that had some reddish/brownish tints that looked OK, but I still think "meh" when I see them. Now Carol's amel cinder is wicked. So the combinations with cinder might be very awesome. But as a base morph, can't stand it.

I agree with you on that 100%!! but disagree, I think Carol's Amel Cinder should be consider an Amel het for Cinder. I find it to be a cool looking snake but just an odd looking Amel with Cinder genes.

Interesting thread. I have one 07 caramel female I ended up with when a deal got messed up last year. I really like her and am looking for a couple more. I'm surprised to see the negative caramel votes

I love ghost but hate anery. I don't know why.

As a single mutation, caramel is my least favorite. I really don't like them. I HATE butters, but butter motleys, striped buttersm and caramel motleys are 3 morphs that I find very, very beautiful. Caramel is a VERY unaattractive mutation in my eyes, but it is necessary for making many of the best looking combos out there! That's to MY EYES, of course.

Take amel - I love albino corns. Regulars are usually pleasing to me, and sunglows and cadycanes are both extremely attractive animals to me. Albino Okeetees, however, are physically painful for me to have in my collection. I dislike them THAT much....lol. Soooo, this is never a SIMPLE answer for me, but I voted caramel. That is the only single mutation that has NEVER appealed to me in any shape or form.

Oh the Lavs - I really don't get Lavs. Dingy pinky-grey things....

Butter Mots and Caramel Mots really float my boat, but then I produce ones with stunning partial stripe effects - pretty spectacular, though I say it myself!

I kind of agree with that.. There's always some that live up to the "lav promise" but usually I see one and think it takes some imagination to get me there. I like it in combos though, especially hypo or amel. I do think it's easily the MOST overrated though.
Everybody's different, I love Cinder lol.

I went with anery A. They just look like someone took away all the color! But I do like anery in a stripe, and I love it combined with lavender or amel/bloodred/stripe, or bloodred. Kastanie doesn't do much for me, either.

I am not all that fond of ghosts...or amels...but I think that I have seen both where I have been like, wow, thats a really pretty snake. So I wouldnt say that there are any that I really dislike.

...Now I feel like I have insulted them...:awcrap:

My least favorite morph is hypo - although I have to say I absolutely LOVE some combinations that involve Hypo.
