possible new morph? You decide

Huh, I clicked on this thread a few days ago when it first started and just ignored it, I had nothing to add that time. I came back to see it almost at 20 pages, and the drama was quite exciting. Too bad the OP couldn't just suck in his pride and admit that he had a normal corn.

Guess another one got weeded out, oh well, it's about quality, not quantity and I think the quality of the people and mods on this forum is top notch. Too bad it takes such drama to keep it that way :(

I hate to say it, but this is the first time I've watched someone melt down to a ban here.

Just to be clear, Aries didn't get banned outright; he simply accumulated enough infraction points to cause a temporary ban. It only takes 10, I think. If you look at the sticky about the infraction system, you'll see a few of the things incur a lot of points.

Wishing I could have the last 5 minutes of my life back after reading this...

:blowhead:

Airenlo no they have not yet. I am still waiting, much like i did for them to hatch. They waited to pip until 96 days. I will post pics to this thread once they shed. Ok so as to make all the contributers happy: I did not pip them myself, i know others will come with nasty, hateful, but coated in "educational/ helpful" responses, i dont pip because i dont like the idea of making it easier for my babies to fully hatch. Pipping an egg takes the fundamental order of strong health babies and accepts weakerand more prone to illness and eventual death. Now i feel certin others do this successfully all the time, i just choose to be different.

I kind of stopped at this point and could not allow my brain to partake in such confusion any longer. 96 days? It seems to me like there was a problem with incubation, at that rate. I've seen a clutch that suffered from a cat-destroyed-the-cord-incubator and shift the visual colours and patterns and it threw us off. Changes in temp, which can affect them aswell, maybe took place here? Of course, the one on page 12, which is two pictures of the same snake, looks more like an Anery Motley who simply needs a good shed or two.

I continued to read after typing this, and Shiari mentioned the same thing. Such complications are usually the result of poor or altered incubation states. Just because your incubator "stays" at one temperature, does not mean it's not broken or glitchy. A power outage might have been experienced one day while out, and poof, there could lie a problem without your knowledge. A digital thermometer and a non-digital were both mentioned as being used. Non-digitals are FAMOUS on being +/- 10 degrees. Just my input on it.

And another.. This poster might possibly be under the assumption that a normal is het for both anery and amel. That's at least what I gathered from the first 10 pages or so, besides displeasing dispositions against Bethany. Genetics isn't just about putting things together and calling it a name. You have to know how they work and behave.

(I would also buy from her in a heartbeat. :eatpointe)

A mercury thermometer is more accurate than a temp gun or anything digital that you can buy. Of course he could have been using the 5$ stick on special from pet smart, but we won't ever know.

Ah, yes, I was referring to the stick-ons especially. I have always wanted to try mercury thermometers, but I figured Murphy might kick me in the butt and one will break. Do they really work that well?

Mercury expands at a very precise rate, so yes. However, it takes time to rise and fall. I don't use a single one of them in reptile applications.

Since I only keep the hogs and corns, I don't use mercury or temp guns, just an 8$ digital special that I keep in the hovabator. But my chondro buddies use mercury to double check temps in their incubators because you really need precise temps. Yes, mercury is great. You just have to set it up before you actually need it because, like Chip said, it takes time to move the mercury.

he sent me this message this morning. mind you, i dont know this guy like, at all. i only know OF him because he was interested in a corn i was selling.

Jessica not to involve you and i apologize but tell susan because she used her power on cornsnakes.com and released my personal information, she has violated a federal law. I will be contacting my lawyer and i will have that website shut down. Their privacy clause when signing up prevents them from reveling any information deemed private. If she wishes to apologize for this action i will not pursue an injunction to have the website shut down. Im not rude, just asked a question and others escalated, so i escalated back.

Jessica you need to send that to Rich Z. ASAP.

It's all bogus, and likely #1,000, 678 in a long of threats like that, but I think Rich needs to know.

Does he realize that Facebook is not private? He does not have any of his settings to private... It would be easy for anyone who wanted to find him to do so. This guy doesn't have much of a case... I seriously doubt that anything will come of this...

This is where he says he wants to buy better morphs so he can pass business on to girls.

I do not see a violation of any Federal law here... Both websites are public access, in which the public and get on and read stuff you put. If this guy wanted his FB to be private he would have selected that option. Also, the grant voting page is public, how else would anyone vote for your grant....
I didn't see any other "personal info" posting, but I was just scanning.

Yeah. His Facebook is fully public. So is that FedEx contest. Both 100% public.

I agree, he really has nothing that will hold water as a case. Also, if he is a broke and downtrodden as he makes it sound on FB and in that FedEx contest, I doubt seriously he has a lawyer worth his salt, if he has one at all.

That seems to be the classic "I did something wrong so I'm going to act out and play the lawyer card." It might have more punch if every caught scammer/wrong doer/troll did not play it.

Probably that he has 2 daughters and wants to leave the business to them in the future... You know, exactly what he posted on that grant site...

What personal information?

We are guessing the stuff from the FedEx grant contest, but it is fully public.

You can view every single applicant in order to vote for them. Nothing there is private, plus he has it splattered all over his business FB page.

Unfortunately, Aries has convinced susang, loyal cornsnakes.com member, with Susan, cornsnakes.com moderator. So, although we all know there was no "private information" released, neither did Su use any super-secret amazing powers to detect any personal information.
