I dont agree with people relaseing corns in the okeetee without having them from the same population. Caught with in a few hundred feet of each other.

Vinman said:you know as well as I this map above is not where carl hunted. He brought people to theokeetee to hunt with him. and this is a copy cat name Okeetee is a native american name,it is pronouced O kee tee, not oka a tee so not are you using the name wrong but pronuceing it wrong I think the second map is in beufort co .There no "Okatee Club". on this map what areyou talking about
See how can you defend your point when yoyu dont know how the hunt club spells their name. You dont know any of the history I told call me up and you would know what you are talking about. you would find out what the orignal people that go every year to okeetee . you have no idea how indept the history is and how it became so famous.
So Pirate55 said:wow what a difference the word "phase" can make.
Personally, i think to be an okeetee, it's ancestor's should be okeetees. However, if someone has a snake who looks like an okeetee, i think that just writing okeetee phase or okeetee (look) or hell even writing non-local could help somewhat. Either way, it's not taking away from the beauty that makes up the okeetee (local and looking) cornsnakes. This is one argument that will never be settled. I'm not saying give up your stance on the issue, but fellas dont be afriad to call a stalemate.
Pirate55 This is the point that I been trying to make.
no offense vin, but you're starting to believe way too much of your own hype. Unless you know the people personally that you are talking to, you have no idea what they know or what experience they have with the okeetee hunt club. You know what they say about assuming things...anywho, i'm not trying to start a fuss, just pointing out that you can jump the gun questioning people's knowledge or credibility for that matter.
Who cares? It all started here in NY
