Rep Points

I believe we will have to run a poll on who gets the last word.

The last word in the English language my be zzyzx in socal. (Seems to be defunct now.)

zyzzyva (type of beetle) may be the last word in many dictionaries.

Zyxt (i.e., see) might be it since the above is actually a genus.

So, I really don't KNOW what the last word is, at least in the English language, but I'm pretty sure that I'm the closest to having typed it on this board so far!

I was really trying to resist

but.......

I am a woman and just had to have the last word.

O.K. now we're done.

I would rep the last 10 or 11 posts, but :
1) I'm scared to death to dare even try the application/function :D , and
2) It's my understanding that I would only get to rep the first 3 or maybe 4. Not the wisest posts. Just the first 3 or 4 that strike me in a day. I.e., speaking wisely at the end of the day is a complete and total waste. Kind of like the rationing in World War II.

( Youth may be wasted on the Young ,.......but thank God in Heaven above Wisdom isn't...!!! )

Depending on how you look at it, the last word in the english language...could be the newest : the most recent new word included/added in Webster's latest edition.

The strictness of the rep points is murder... I've been coming across posts that deserve rep and I can't rep them. I keep getting "You must spread some rep around". Sad thing is I've not given that particular person rep in at least a week.

Oh and not to mention, by the time I hand out rep so that I can hopefully rep said person I can't rep for another 24 hours.

This sucks. :(

I'm hoarding my reps. I've given out _one_ since this started. I'm afraid to run out, so I will use none and avoid that.

That's the point of this. Make them count for the posts that REALLY deserve them....

Exactly

That's the point of this. Make them count for the posts that REALLY deserve them....

I have stayed out of this fray and plan to continue BUT, I always thought that was the point of the Rep Points. Similar to the old "did you find this information useful."

If someone makes a well informed, thought provoking or extremely helpful post, they are typically the people who get the points.
