Kiss My Hearse
He passed away today with family around him. Regardless of what anyone might think of his acting, he was a tremendous dancer and an avid horseman as well.

I lost my grandfather to pancreatic cancer, so I knew when it was released that Patrick Swayze had been diagnosed he would not be around much longer. It's such a terrible cancer.

Good-bye, Mr. Swayze. I enjoyed your entertainment.

Oh no noooo...I didn't realize he was SO close to the end. You always fear the worst and know that no one is long for this world with that type of cancer. He actually lived much longer than I expected when I first heard of his diagnosis. RIP, Mr. S.

Dance with the angels Patrick.

I lost my dad to this cancer on June 26 after a 9 month battle. It is a hellish cancer and it's hell to watch your loved one suffer in pain and slip away so quickly.

My sister in law lost her mother this way...she was diagnosed right before Thanksgiving 2007, and passed away in January 2009.

Horrible thing.....

RIP Mr Swayze....

I just found out about this and it's very sad. He'd been battling it so long I kinda thought he'd beat it. And you know, I actually liked him in a few movies. If you haven't seen it, rent "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar". He plays a drag queen, along with John Leguizamo and Wesley Snipes, and is amazing.

RIP.

Patrick Swayze was a good actor. He played everything from a greasy haired father figure to a bunch of wild teens, to a romantic ghost stuck in this world for a love he can't have. Bank robber/surfer, drag queen, hillbilly cop in Chicago, star dancer, cool headed bouncer...the man could get into any role and play it.

He will be missed...

Aw gees, I had heard he was not doing well.. RIP ..

OT, from what I seem to remember, was Patrick a Pilot as well?

Regards.. Tim of T and J
