About 2 weeks before I joined this site, back in 2005, I had a bit too much to drink, went into kingsnake, spouted off about how much I hate hybrids, and got myself banned for life!
I hardly drink anymore, but the hate-fire burns just as brightly :)

Oh, since dogs were mentioned, here are some dog Hybrids...

Collie + Lhaso Apso: Collapso, a dog that folds up for easy transport.

Spitz + Chow Chow: Spitz-Chow, a dog that throws up a lot.

Bloodhound + Borzoi: Bloody Bore, a dog that's not much fun.

Pointer + Setter: Poinsetter, a traditional Christmas pet.

Kerry Blue Terrier + Skye Terrier: Blue Skye, a dog for visionaries.

Pekingese + Lhaso Apso: Peekasso, an abstract dog.

Labrador Retriever + Curly Coated Retriever: Lab Coat Retriever, the choice of research scientists.

Newfoundland + Labrador: Blabrador, a dog that barks incessantly.

Malamute + Pointer: Moot Point, owned by? oh, well, it doesn't matter anyway.

Collie + Malamute: Commute, a dog that travels to work.

I swear....between being a redhead, a taurus, part stubborn swede, part irish with a temper to match....and throw in premenopausal for good measure.......well...you get the picture!!!

I finally remembered what I wanted to say about this from this morning...Yes, we're going off track a bit, and revisiting the good old hybrid debate, but maybe that is not such a bad thing if we have new readers who haven't heard the many pro and con opinions! Now, if nothing else, someone who hasn't thought about hybrid snakes before at least know it's a controversial topic!

Neither of those look anywhere near as good as a real snake.....
 
they look like real snakes to me, they eat and bite and act like snakes... just because they are hybrids and look a little more like toys than snakes.... i would be afraid of a neighborhood kid thinking its candy and trying to eat it...lol
 
And thank you to Dean for posting one of the hybrids that makes me deviate from my anti-hybrid stance.
