CRAZY BOUT' CORNS !!
The fact the my wife's job will be ending on the 29th of this month due to lay offs at the corporation she works at wasn't enough I guess.

I just got a call this morning only to find out, the guy I work for had a motorcycle accident and is in the hospital. Now I don't know when I will get back to work seeing how he has only a small business and it was only him and I doing the work...............THANKS MURPHY !!!

Anyway, if anyone is interested in any of the snakes I have posted for sale, please don't be affraid to make a reasonable offer, I'll probably accept considering my position now.

Sorry to hear that Walter. I am feeling some of the same pain in my house. My wife and I both work for the state and we got or saleries cut and then she was told that her job might be cut next year too. She's a TEACHER and we both thought that would be the last jobs to be cut. Also in our area the hospitals are cutting jobs to of all places. Definately signs of the tough times everyone is in. I wish I could afford some snakes but if I did purchase any all my racks are full right now too.

I hope things turn out for the best for you!

I'm sorry to hear about your misfotune as well. It's a DAMN shame the condition alot of people are in in this country.

I'm actually contemplating putting a "Collection For Sale" list together. I don't want to, but sometimes you have to do, what you have to do....:shrugs:

I see you aren't far from my home town. I was born a raised just southeast of New Orleans.........St. Bernard Parish. I was there for 38-39 years of my life until Katrina showed up................LOL

Yep, Katrina changed a lot of things for many people...forever. And yep, St. Bernard Parish suffered much much much.

Yeah, I really don't want to MAKE that post, but it may be soon. I guess it depends on if I can find another job and how long that will take.
However, I am also thinking what the hell would be the point, I can't even sell what I have posted for sale now.

Maybe if I offer my entire collection @ $25 each that would work...:shrugs:

As much as I don't want to see that post, I'd have the money to you about 30 seconds after you hit post. I don't know where I'd get it, but I'd find it.

It always seems like when the s*it hits the fan, it's gonna rain on your parade. And when it rains, it pours. Don't worry about it too much, though. Just get up, clean yourself off, and start that parade up again!

I'm trying to hold off, but like I say, I need to see how long it will actually take to find something else and with the way things are shutting down around us, you may just see that post.

Hell, I've had my house up for sale for over 6 months now trying to sell it before I loose IT.

yeah, I'm gonna TRY and stick it out. I'll be on the ole job hunt after going to see my buddy/boss in the hospital tomorrow. I'm sure he will be out of commision for quite a while. He had to get surgery this morning on the knee (nuts and bolts) and has alot of other broken bones. Meanwhile I need to try and find something.

I just hope I can sell some stuff to get some $$$ until I do find something.

Thanks, same here. He is more of a buddy than an employer to me. From what I understand the accident isn't life threatning, but he is banged up pretty bad.

Broken collar bone, 3 broken ribs, a slipped verterbre, and whatever was wrong with the knee that needed pins/bolts & surgery, plus he is road rashed pretty bad as well from what I was told.

I'll know more when I see him tomorrow.

Walter, could you and your wife do the work that you and your buddy _were_ doing? If it's a two-person job? Keep the business going till he's back on his feet??
 
Dang Walt, I'm really sorry to hear this! I know I've had to take a 10% cut in pay where I work, so new snakes are out of the question for me right now. I hope everything turns out alright for you and your wife. I hope things start looking up for all of us.
